One of the few upscale restaurants we could find in Vicksburg. Nice setting, friendly service. The food was okay, nothing special. One dish, we couldn't eat.
The hostess was not dressed appropriately. The waitress didn't have any understanding of wine. Not what we were expecting. It was fine overall, but not the experience we were expecting.
The mansion is lovely. We have stayed five times- choosing a different room every time because they are all decorated differently. We love the history of the house. We had both dinner and breakfast at the mansion. Food was great. Very pleasant wait staff and hostess. We love it and will be back again.
