It was very nice of Sam to squeeze us in on our anniversary on 29 February. I really appreciate his effort. The food and atmosphere is excellent and i will surely return. The catfish and creole rice was excellent.
Many such Inns are in historic homes, but the history of this Inn and the authenticity is special. The rooms are very comfortable. Unsurprisingly, the electrical outlets are less than optimal, but the plumbing is fine. A decent authentic southern breakfast is included. A great stay.

The Anchuca Historic Mansion and Inn is as beautiful as it is interesting. The interior decor is lovely and the guest rooms are grand. This is a really nice place to stay and the restaurant is first class. The owners are very friendly as are the entire staff. Historically, Confederate President Jefferson Davis gave one of his last farewell addresses from the balcony while his brother Joseph lived here.Rooms: Rooms are large and comfortableNearby activities: Near to historic downtownSafety:...read full review
