“I was passing through town and decided this place looks like it’ll be good. And it was more than good. It was excellent! If you like Southern home cooking, then this is your place. After drooling over the delicious menu options, I finally decided on the Meatloaf Panini. If you like meatloaf, you’ll love their meatloaf. It was amazing. I was so happy with my meal, that I ordered dessert. I went with the bread pudding. It too was amazing. I can’t wait to pass through Jackson, MS again.”

“I took my 7 year old daughter for dinner Friday night to the Manship at 5:30, thinking it would be packed out and pretty busy but got there and they got us straight to a table, and within under a minute our waitress, JENNIE came to take our drink orders, and was so kind to make a cheese pizza happen for my daughter, which I have to say it was the best cheese pizza I have had almost over I believe. I’m dying to go back and have one of their specialty pizzas but everything on the menu looked amazing. The atmosphere was awesome and the service was out of this world. I will definitely be going back.If you have not eaten here then you should definitely try it and I recommend asking for Jennie as your waitress. She was the most polite, well mannered young woman I’ve had wait on me ANYWHERE. Hands down best service in Jackson”

“We had an amazing experience. The building wasn't crowded and the staff was excellent. Alan greeted us at the door and was nothing short of amazing. He gave us directions around town and places to try. Tiffany was our waitress and made us feel like part of the family. She was attentive and quick to get us anything we needed. The food was a taste of home cooking. Fresh and cooked exactly how we liked it. At the end we had a slice of their chocolate chess pie and I have never in my life had a better pie. We will be going back for the pie tomorrow. Thank you so much for the hospitality.Day 2 - We were told to come back on Sunday for lunch because the menu was different. We were so glad that we came back, the fried chicken was delicious. Erica was super friendly, excellent and attentive. But once again the chocolate chess pie was heavenly.”

“I finally got a chance to try this spot out. I live South Mississippi but travel to Jackson a lot so it is my new favorite spot. Tuesday, I had the BBQ Jackfruit Nachos and they did not disappoint! Wednesday, I came but they were not opened during lunch time, I was so sad? but I was able to make up for it today with the BBB Burger and Onion Rings. It is whole vibe in this place. I recommend the brisket toast, crawfish grits, and s'mores cheesecake. The smoky brisket was generously heaped onto perfectly toasted bread. The creamy grits provided the ideal canvas for succulent crawfish, each bite bursting with flavor. The s'mores cheesecake was nothing short of a heavenly creation. It was velvety smooth, with a luscious chocolate graham cracker crust, elevated by toasted marshmallow topping. Honestly, it is probably the best cheesecake I've ever had!”

“This diner/apothecary is super cute and charming! We were a party of four for Sunday brunch and we were seated immediately at 10:20am. Candy waited on us and she was super kind and accommodating. We ordered four meals and split them between the four of us. We got the breakfast patty melt, fried chicken biscuit, French toast, and an omelette! Everything was delicious but the patty melt and the fried chicken biscuit with the hot honey really stood out! The breakfast potatoes are a MUST and the patty melt is better if you dip it in mayo! If you want coffee, stick to the hot coffee with cream and sugar. I tried the cold brew and it tasted like watered down coffee. They make it with a premade mixture instead of making the cold brew themselves so I’m not sure how much that had to do with it, but it wasn’t very good. The atmosphere of this place is super cute too, so I would definitely check it out!I’ve been here once before and the Nutella milk shakes are also TO DIE FOR! A must :)”

Even though it was the time between when they serve food(we did not realize that was the case) we were promptly served with a smile. The food was great and the staff were friendly and attentive. “Ambiance Bettina's has a very warm and welcoming environment and you're greeted as you enter the building. They have the option to sit in or get your order to go (in person or by phone). We opted to sit for lunch after church and our waitress was Ms. Barbra. Our orders we taken and served promptly! Food My food was served hot and fresh. I had a fried chicken plate (dark) that was seasoned amazingly with the right amount of crisp. I also had fresh greens seasoned with smoked meat and warm ooey -gooey mac'n'cheese and a cornbread muffin! 10/10 I would recommend Bettina's for a nice hearty and soulful meal!”

“This is a great date night spot. They have lots to do pool tables, giant jenga, cards and connect four. The bathroom was clean, and the vibe was on point. The music was legit and we really enjoyed ourselves. They had a decent selection of alcohol to choose from. I decided to partake in the Hookah and it was fairly priced with lots of flavors. I was guided to the right flavor and it was very tasty. They do serve food, but we were there for drinks and fun. I did see a plate wall by and it caught my eye.”

The interior presents the restaurant's history on nearly every surface with countless campaign stickers and other memorabilia related to Millsaps and the surrounding Jackson area. “Estelle's is conveniently located inside the Westin and a great option for dinner prior to events at Thalia Mara located within a very short walk. Food selections are tried, true and tasty. Service, depending upon the number of patrons is usually pretty good but give yourself plenty of time to eat and pay your bill. Because of our previous dining experiences and the location, Estelle's has been our go to restaurant for dinner before attending Thalia Mara evening events.”

“The Library is a really great place to go to get a drink in a setting that is lower in volume — both people and noise. The drinks are very good — I recommend the Margaret Walker (a basil gimlet). The beer menu isn’t the most extensive, but a large selection of well made mixed drinks. The patio outside or one the the two rooms inside are great for having a drink and an actual conversation that isn’t had at a level of having to yell over people or music.Kid-friendliness: Not really a place to bring the kids — an upscale sort of place that is for adults hanging with adults in my opinion.Parking: Parking for the library is in the lot of an older medical building to the left of the Library Lounge.”

I was traveling and ate there every night i was in Jackson. The night club crowd was down to earth. I felt safe. Will be back when we visit family. My husband and son got the capital burger. “First time at Ish was a nice experience. The crowd is more mature. Showed up spontaneously on a Friday. There was a $15 charge at the door. There was a live performance can’t remember the singers name but will leave a photo, she did good tho and the band played well. Ordered a Patron margarita while sitting at the bar and the bartender made it kinda stout definitely felt them later lol. There was a nice patio area to stretch out or take a smoke if needed.
