“First, the ambiance is always top tier, whether solo or with my friends; whenever solo, I'm at the bar and today was the icing on the cake....all drinks by Kate were superb and she kept my water glass full, along with her bar counterpart(Sunday Brunch) they work great together getting the job done...my southern style Benedict was DELICIOUS as well‼Kudos to them“
“This restaurant was worth 10 stars! We visited late and they brought the food back out to accommodate us. Everything on the menu was homemade and melt in your mouth AMAZING! We tried the pork chops, grilled chicken and ribs. All three of the meats were fall off the bone, melt in your mouth, juicy. The sweet potatoes were the best sweet potatoes we had ever had in our lives! The restaurant was family run and all of the ladies were beyond friendly and overly excited to hear about our travels coming from Kansas City. This is a must in the area and it was easy to access just off the highway.“
“EVERYTHING! All 3 of us got different, perfectly cooked and artfully plated fish dishes and enjoyed a pan of cornbread and strawberry salad with feta and vinaigrette. Bread pudding was STUPENDOUS as was the Caramel Pie. Our server was attentive, helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to return at lunch with friends. Definitely going to become frequent diners and meet up with friends. Great price point for this establishment! A GREAT FIRST VISIT! 100/100“
“I got the catfish dinner. It came with two sides I choose macaroni and fried okra. Both of the sides were pretty good. The fish was nice and hot perfectly seasoned. Nice size portions for your money. The hush puppies were just a ball of fried bread nothing special at all. Cash only and it’s an increased price for farm raised catfish $19 or $16 for imported. Tater sauce is an extra 50 cents but it’s so very delicious.“
“I ADORE SALTINE! I travel to Jackson every few months and a visit is not complete without Saltine. The oysters are amazing and perfectly prepared. The pork belly is inspired and delicious! I live in NJ, close to the beach, with lots of amazing restaurants around. But none like Saltine! They are one of a kind!“
“I work at the Medical Mall and go to Piccadilly at times if I need a quick lunch. Do not usually want a big meal when working. Would like to have more options for a la carte (individual dishes from the menu). Asked for one meat item (cajun chicken soup on rice), but was told would have to pay full price of a whole meal at 10.99. Got the whole meal out of desperation because I went to lunch late on a Friday and other places where closed. The portion of the meat item alone was more than I needed and most of the meal went in the garbage. Do not like to waste money or food. Need more options to eat light please. Also putting up a posted cost of meal choices (veggie plate and what it includes, ect.) would be nice so it is easier to know what the rules are. Wanted to comment because myself and others would like these light choices. Would come there more often and know others would too!“
“Lou's is what the Jackson dining scene needed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and exudes a cozy and welcoming vibe. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I recommend the brisket toast, crawfish grits, and s'mores cheesecake. The smoky brisket was generously heaped onto perfectly toasted bread. The creamy grits provided the ideal canvas for succulent crawfish, each bite bursting with flavor. The s'mores cheesecake was nothing short of a heavenly creation. It was velvety smooth, with a luscious chocolate graham cracker crust, elevated by toasted marshmallow topping. Honestly, it is probably the best cheesecake I've ever had!“
