Catfish was good, service was attentive and fast, cools spot. Lots of locals said I should try it, I enjoyed the visit.
Full disclosure, I am not a fan of catfish, but my wife loves it so I took her there. I can honestly say that I enjoyed it and would definitely go back. I’m only visiting the area, but if they were located near me, I would frequent often. I had the fish and shrimp and really liked the fish. Generous portions. The hush puppies were awesome.

Jerry's Catfish House is a restaurant known for its delicious catfish and other offerings such as shrimp, okra, fried pickles, hushpuppies, coleslaw, and turnip greens. The service is quick and friendly. It is recommended to go early as there can be long lines, especially on Friday nights. The catfish is fresh, not at all muddy, clean, perfectly breaded, and melts in your mouth like butter. The fried jalapeños were so good and the onion rings were divine. The hush puppies are the best and the coleslaw was delicious. The building is old and the ambiance is nothing special but the food is fantastic. It is by far the best fish house in the area and is a must for a great time with friends and family.
