I ordered take of Gulf Shrimp fried today

You give a place a new look , but when you expect the same fabulous food and don’t get it a llittle polish & paint means nothing !
Food was terrible ! Gulf shrimp only 4 small pieces . Lettuce greens not fresh with 1 grape tomato and that good Comeback dressing were no where to be found !
Mayflower always made the best tartar sauce but the recipe totally changed & to salty . A few onion rings . Total waste...read full review
I ordered my old favorites- broiled oysters and redfish with shrimp. The food and the service was wonderful. I am so glad they kept the old booths. Most of all I love the revival of the front seafood display. ❤️

The fried shrimp, onion rings, fried okra, yams, catfish, chicken sandwich, and crab cakes have received high praise from recent visitors. The old-time feel and welcoming atmosphere make it a great place to stop and eat when traveling through Jackson. The restaurant continues to impress with its delicious southern food and top-tier service.
