I ordered my old favorites- broiled oysters and redfish with shrimp. The food and the service was wonderful. I am so glad they kept the old booths. Most of all I love the revival of the front seafood display. ❤️
Great experience! Clean and fresh take on the classic Mayflower Cafe.
Excellent service. Sautéed crab claws were perfect. Comeback sauce on the salad was on point. Blackened redfish and broiled scallops with the famous Colbert sauce was outstanding.
Good sides, great rolls and a nice wine/drink selection.
There is nothing to complain about here!

Mayflower Cafe in Jackson has been a favorite for years. The history and atmosphere add to the experience. The food and the service are wonderful. The revival of the front seafood display is a great feature. The famous Colbert sauce is outstanding. They serve drinks now too. The dining room is clean, and the restrooms are new. The fried shrimp, onion rings, fried okra, yams, catfish, chicken sandwich, and crab cakes have received high praise from recent visitors. The old-time feel and welcoming atmosphere make it a great place to stop and eat when traveling through Jackson. The restaurant continues to impress with its delicious southern food and top-tier service.
