I have visited at least half a dozen various Newk’s in different states. And it’s been 25 times or more over the years so I think I know what I’m talking about lol“

“Best in town. Since over a year ago, I went to Little Caesars after being disappointed with every other pizza option in town. This is now the ONLY place I go for pizza, whether if it's just for myself, some friends, or a party.

Great cost-to-taste ratio. Only downside? Those prices like to creep up on you. After ordering once a week for a while, I saw the website creep up the price of my usual order. See, I've kept a notebook of prices and pizzas since I started ordering there. Most of the good and common stuff is around the same price, but some pizzas have nearly doubled, permanently. I pretend those don't exist anymore.

Friendly customer service, very timely nowadays, and you can't beat a drive-thru pick-up after ordering online.

So, it's fantastic! Best pizza place in town. Just watch out for that price hike. If they raise it, stop ordering online from there for a month, and it'll go back down to normal.“

“Today 11/17/24 I waited on our Byram newks to open. I was headed to the hospital and wanted some lobster bisque soup to take to my husband. I walked in a couple minutes before they were actually opened. The manager was holding his before opening meeting. He told me it was ok to come on in. His meeting was full of positive and encouraging words. When he finished he came to help me. I wanted the large container and the grab n go only had the small container. He said we can get you that. While I was waiting I said sorry for busting in on your meeting. 😂 I explained that my husband was in the hospital and I was taking him one of his favorite soups. He asked me was he ok. I told him about him having cancer and only wanted soup today. He said I’m so sorry will definitely say a prayer for him. He then says I’m giving you my manager meal discount today. I said no that is so sweet but not necessary. He did anyway. That sweet gesture just touched my heart. I also shared with him that my husband picks up food at least once a week on his way home. Several of the employees know him by name now. One of the them said your changing up your look on me. So my husband explained he has cancer and taking chemo. The chemo has caused him to lose most of his hair and his full beard. The employee was so worried and said he hoped he would be ok and would pray for him. Shout out to the manager Alex and his staff for being so sweet and kind.“

“We have been eating at Mazzios for over a year on a regular basis. Server Sarah McWhorter has always gone above and beyond. My granddaughter absolutely loves her. I think she wants to eat at Mazzios to see Sarah as much as she wants pizza. Which is her favorite food.“

“Today was the 1st time I’ve been to The Manship. We sat outside as the day was overcast and comfortable temps. The atmosphere is laid back southern elegance. Lunch menu choices made it difficult to choose. We started with the seasonal cocktail, a very Manship twist on a French 75 served frozen in a coupe and garnished with a violet. This is one I hope they make a permanent part of their menu. Perfect balance of sweet/sour and delightful on the palate. Next we shared smoked tuna dip served with what I think were fried tortillas seasoned with chili lime and saltine crackers. It rivals the best smoked tuna dip I’ve ever had from along the Atlantic. For entrees we chose small plates: Manship Woodfired Oysters served with focaccia and a special of Bbq pork belly served with Brussel Sprout slaw. I am not fond of brussel sprouts & surprisingly I loved the slaw. The oysters were beautifully served in a dish that kept them warm and not overcooked. The thick slices of bread were perfect for dipping in the butter sauce used in cooking the oysters. The pork belly was so good. Just the right amount of rub and sauce cooked to tender, melt in your mouth perfection. Our server was a total pro. I feel so bad because I didn’t write down her name. My daughter who was with me once worked as a server at a restaurant much like Manship. She was very impressed because our dishes arrived in perfect order and timing. She was knowledgeable about every item on the menu. Do yourself a favor and go eat at this wonderful establishment! We will come back!“

“Our office ordered box lunches recently, and everything was *awesome.* I recommended the banana pudding to coworkers, and that's what everyone got and was glad I suggested it. It was fabulous! Their service was always good but with all places like this depending on how many orders they have they can sometimes be slow. The atmosphere is nice for a walk in pick up your pizza kind of spot it is. Prices are acceptable and they have lots of varieties to choose from.“

“This is that cool place to chill without a care in the world. Its got this Home-like feel. And I am not from Pearl, MS, but I felt welcome and comfortable immediately. As a pizza lover I had to try this place and they did not let me down. I got an extra cheese, pep, mushroom, onion, and spinach small pizza. My dauggter got mozerella, gouda, and pep small. Both were very tastey. This is not the best pizza we have ever had yet it close to the top. Our pies were not perfect which clearly they bake authentically (sp?).
