“My husband and I passed through Hattiesburg Once a year and each time we stop at this restaurant, the food is outstanding. We couldn't believe it last night. We got the same server that we had 1 year ago. His name is James. He is very very good. He's very kind and respectable. And he gives great service. The food is delicious. If you like raw oysters, this is the place to go. The crab and shrimp dip is delicious, Also we got. I think it was called the big reds. They are shrimp that Really taste like lobster. The thing that we enjoyed besides the food was the service. James is just plain great. He's on the ball with everything. He makes suggestions without being pushy. “It’s hard to explain just how good the food is at Triangle Seafood. The gumbo, crawfish étouffée, catfish, poboys — it’s all amazing food. My wife and I go here at least twice a month. The prices are great too. Not many places left where you can get crawfish étouffée (or gumbo, red beans and rice), two big big pieces of fish, and garlic bread for $11.“

I ordered the catfish over jambalaya and a cup of seafood gumbo. The gumbo to me was okay but not something I would order again as it was lacking in the flavor department. Now, the catfish dinner was on point, it had great flavor the seasoning was on point the breading on the fish had a nice crisp, although I'm not certain why mushrooms were on the dish as they are not needed to make this dish a 5 star. My server was on point as she made some suggestions and gave a as to what she liked and what was ordered the most. “The food was good, I had sauteed crab claws, shrimp and grits, with a salad and asparagus. The shrimp and grits are definitely different from the norm they have a nice flavor but I wasn't crazy about the texture. The asparagus was delicious! The service was outstanding. We went early to beat the crowd so we didn't have to wait.“
