“I tried the shrimp po-boy last week and was not disappointed in the shrimp but prefer real pascal manali style bread. I understand that real New Orleans style French bread cost more for that type amenity but it really makes a difference. Just a thought. No pressure. It was easy to access the establishment from the highway across from Ramey’s. I was impressed that they were able to deliver such a great meal from a food cart environment. They really try hard to make you a really good meal. I would recommend you give them a try. Keep up the great service and wonderful seafood. See you again soon for another po boy. “Our favorite place ❤️ Haven't tried everything on the menu but everything I've ever ordered has been delicious. Always fresh food and home cooked. And the rolls are the best I've ever ever had in my life. The catfish both filet and whole are delicious can't beat it. The chicken and dumplings are so yummy. The pineapple upside down cake is also warm and delicious and the bread pudding is delicious. My husband always gets the Lotta burger with extra chadder cheese he saids it's the best burger around. My go to has always been the fried catfish, hamburger steak, or the Country fried steak with white gravy. Everything they have is delicious been going here for atleast 17 to 18 years now. And the owners are the best like family. Just love them. ❤️ Oh and the fresh garden salad is always crisp and delicious too. Always Fresh veggies. They are always pretty packed so please be patient if you have to wait a little I promise you it's so worth the wait.“

“My husband and I passed through Hattiesburg Once a year and each time we stop at this restaurant, the food is outstanding. We couldn't believe it last night. We got the same server that we had 1 year ago. His name is James. He is very very good. He's very kind and respectable. And he gives great service. The food is delicious. If you like raw oysters, this is the place to go. The crab and shrimp dip is delicious, Also we got. I think it was called the big reds. They are shrimp that Really taste like lobster. The thing that we enjoyed besides the food was the service. James is just plain great. He's on the ball with everything. He makes suggestions without being pushy. “We had an opportunity to visit Benson’s Steakhouse in March and had a wonderful experience!! The attention to detail that was provided by all the staff was amazing. Steaks were perfectly prepared! “The food and service here are wonderful! I actually really like the atmosphere despite the 3☆. The food is very upscale, both in the flavors and presentation, yet the atmosphere is more like a pub and not an upscale pub. I love both, but if I'm at a pub for lunch, I want pub food, not a $100 gourmet meal for two. Gabby was a wonderfully attentive waitress! I'll definitely order food to go from here and if they ever remodel, I'll be first in line for a Grand Re-opening!“

“Great local restaurant and bar. First time visiting and we definitely enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and engaging. We enjoyed some good karaoke while sampling a few appetizers and a very good main course. We enjoyed the blackwater bites and cajun chips with seafood dip appetizers. The main course was blackened red fish and boiled shrimped platter and both were outstanding in both taste and quantity. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the price being high but it is absolutely not overpriced and the prices we paid were very fair. We definitely will be back again to sample more great food and enjoy some good karaoke.“

“Called and reserved a sack of live bugs two weeks out. They didn’t forget and sent me text messages about my reservation and when to pick up the bag. Nice, kind, and fast. The crawdads are fresh and good quality. I have gotten live crawfish from them a few times and you can usually expect medium to large size crawfish. Highly recommend!“
