“I was so hoping to give this a complete glowing review after it being recommended. Bang bang shrimp are outstanding. Quesadilla and steaks were great, even though we had to send one back due to not being medium well. The challenge was in the service. The young lady seemed less than thrilled to provide us with the level of service we had been experiencing all week at other places. Her personality remained consistent and overshadowed nice manager who corrected my steak.“

“Oh holy fried goodness, Batman! Now I understand why that corner is impassable in the evenings they are open. Order before you go! It helps the line move faster, but it's worth waiting in that line. The fried fish is incredible. The hush puppies....I could live on those hush puppies alone! And the best coleslaw....yummy. Those ladies can fry up some incredible yummy goodness. Even the french fries are totally delicious, AND I DON'T REALLY LIKE FRIES.If they ever opened up a bigger restaurant, I'd give up cooking altogether!“

The fried okra, hush puppies, fried pickles, and fried gator tail were amazing too, great fast service and atmosphere. We will definitely be back! “First time visiting Southern Seafood and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the freshness of the food, the flavor, the fries were on point (so crunchy), the friendly service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The food portion was more than enough. They have severaI southern sides to choose from Drinks: I chose that Southern SWEET Tea, and it was just as I like it. This place did not disappoint and we will be back. PS we bought fresh catfish fillets and shrimp, from their market, to cook up at home.“

“It was a really cute restaurant! I ordered an enchilada. If you are a cheese person, you'd love it. It wasn't nasty at all, it was just waaayyy too much cheese! I also ordered a salad, which was great, and tried the Shrimp Etouffee, which was really good.

“I got the three piece catfish it was served to me fast the fries didnt really have a taste but that’s my fault cause they ask if I wanted any seasoning or anything on my fries so when I said no maybe they thought no salt the fish was really good next visit I just need them to cook it a little harder they was very nice and the place is nice little spot got some damage at front entrance but all and all I am coming back and if u want to quick decent food for a quality price with great customer service slide on through and for the non urban folks slide means come and visit the restaurant lol“

“The food, service and atmosphere were phenomenal. The Manager Mr. Steel walked the lobby to make sure it was clean and he checked on us a few times while we were eating. We visit this location at least once weekly and Mr. Steel is the same every time, very caring and provides A1 service.“
