“First visit to Petes. I ordered the 3 piece chicken wing special and an order of fried green tomatoes. They gave me a couple of items to try, fried okra and a couple of the Chicago mild sauce wings. All of it was delicious! The customer service was phenomenal. I can’t lie, I was a little taken aback because you rarely have good food and service at the same time. I’m the problem, not Petes’. The care they give guarantees them a repeat customer. Salute to Petes ! I will be returning tomorrow or the day after to try something else and will give you an update. Until then, give them a try, you can thank me later ?!“

We both ordered ribeyes and I enjoyed mine more than any I’ve ever tasted anywhere else! This was our first time to eat there, but we will certainly be back! The staff always has a smile on their faces and welcomes us as if we are family! The food is always delicious! We have tried almost everything on the menu! “We placed a Togo order around 5:45 and were told our order would be ready at 6:20. We got there and they were SUPER BUSY. So we knew our ready would not be ready on time, but it was understandable! Our order was announced ready at 7:15! Well unfortunately was not taken correctly and one of our items was messed up. They quickly responded and told the kitchen to make our missing item! Well there were some issues with the kitchen and the OWNER went back in to the kitchen and remade the entire order. WOW, that is true customer service. She also gave us a $10 gift card for the inconvenience, which they were so busy so we were not upset with them. What a great place who cares about their customers! “We recently moved to the area from StLouis and have been craving the fine dining we had available in quantity. This place foots the bill in service, food, and atmosphere. They should pay their chef double or triple, whatever it takes to keep them. Everything we had from salad through dessert was perfect in seasoning, quantity, and presentation. I don’t know of any gumbo I’ve had better than theirs. Save room for the white chocolate bread pudding for dessert. Nothing like it anywhere in the world. The wait staff is first rate in friendliness and service. Ask for Rylee if you are there on a Fri/Sat/Sun evening. She will take care of you!“

“Was clean, not a cozy place if wanting a romantic date night however the Seafood Platter for two is perfect with enough to take home. Plenty for what you pay for, tasted good...boiled shrimp was not the best, fried shrimp was much better. Would go back.

Parking: Had to park on side towards back where employees would probably park because rest were taken.

“I reserved 8 sacks of crawfish this past weekend. I arrived at 10 am to find that the truck had not delivered the size I ordered yet. I ended up waiting an hour for the truck to arrive. I have to say that the staff was so sweet, and wanted to do anything they could to make it right. The delivery truck broke down and that was completely out of their control. I appreciate that they acknowledged it was an inconvenience and wanted to do anything they could to make it better. This is how things like this should be handled! Many other businesses could learn lessons from these guys! Also, they loaded them all up for me as well!“

“Great little spot - stumbled across it recently. GREAT boiled mudbugs and best price I've found. $3.15 boiled. No sausage , but potatoes and corn. Friendly, efficient and good value. Also I appreciate accuracy in Google; Hours/Days. Called two other places - one listed as closed on Sunday, but were open - $$$$$$$ other one states open at 4pm (Called some guys cell # listed) and he said no boiled and almost sold out of live - this was at 2pm. I was only calling to verify they would indeed be opened at 4pm. It takes about 2 minutes for business to update times/days. Things change. I get it - that is Exactly why people look up their business on Google. Come on man. Lee's is well worth checking out. Seems like the go the extra mile. Owners working onsite/Family.“

“On 5/11/24, My husband took me out tħo eat for Mother’s Day. Mack’s was very busy when we arrived, but we were promptly seated. Our waitress Christy was basically at our table introducing herself as our waitress and asking what our drink order. We thought that with as many people that were there our food would take a while, but our food arrived in a timely manner. The food arrived HOT and most of all DELICIOUS!!!!! My husband and I have ate a lot of seafood in our life. But it was well worth the drive to Harrisburg. And the cost of the food was very reasonable!!! It is worth the drive to Hattiesburg. And when you get there as for Christy as your waitress. She is the sweetest. She is very attentive.“

“This is some of the best fried chicken in town; it even gives Popeyes a run for their money. They must turn all of their breasts into chicken tenders, because fried breasts aren't available. Chicken strips are big solid chunks of chicken, not chopped/pressed meat, so their awesome.“
