This Bogalusa location was our go-to spot. Not anymore. My girlfriend and I pulled up at 7:30 PM and not only were they
completely out of EVERYTHING,
but the staff was incredibly rude about it. For no reason
As someone who has worked in the industry, there is absolutely zero excuse for this. Restaurants rely on detailed inventory management systems to track par levels and schedule the 2-3 supply trucks they get a week. If you can't manage your inventory well enough to keep chicken in a chicken restaurant, somebody isn't doing their job. Add the terrible customer service on top of that, and it's clear this location has given up. Extremely disappointing.

The General manager is rude af with a nasty attitude… I ordered the two can dine with dirty rice and mashed potatoes and she give me red beans instead… Bogalusa Popeyes need a new General Manager!!! PERIOD!!!!

Dude how do you run out of EVERYTHING (9pm and close at 10pm) I ordered online and they refused to substitute or refund order. Always something wrong with this place. Either missing food in the bag, wrong order or rude employees. 12/21/25
Chicken was very greasy. This might have been a one time screw up. Popeye chicken is usually very good.
