As a restaurant manager for almost 40 years, this was the first time I have ever heard a manager say that "Well, if it's made right, there's nothing that I can do." First of all, I don't care if it's made right. More importantly, if I don't like it, I'm not going to eat it, even if I still have to pay for it. If I was concerned about the price of a meal, I wouldn't have come to Another Broken Egg.
I have been eating at this particular ABE for a while. But this will probably be my last time.

Parking: Restaurant shares a building and parking with adjacent businesses. There’s plenty of parking options.

Overall: Not a bad brunch joint for Bossier considering the other options. What takes away most of the stars is from bad staff attitude and quality food/control. Not all staff were rude but it’s always that one person, coupled with a colleague who has no idea and just backs them up.
Food: I’ve had various kinds of food from here and they’re not bad for the most part. I’ve only gotten take out and they separate wet and dry foods so it doesn’t get soggy in the box.
What drops the rating to what could’ve been a 4 to a 2 is my last visit. It’s a busy Sunday morning with a large number of customers both sitting and waiting. I got my food about 25 minutes late. I would’ve been find with this, except the coffee that went with the order was made and sitting on the counter since I placed the order. Ice melted and many people have picked it up to look at it and put it back down, staff fondled with it while waiting at the bar counter, and just sat there for a good 40 minutes. Had I known that was my drink, I would’ve asked for it so I can keep it with me. But I assumed it was for another customer bc I got there 10 minutes earlier than my pick up time and saw it being made.
When my order finally came out, I addressed my concern of watered down drink as well as sanitary concerns and asked to see if she’d be willing to make another one. She said “No. I can put more ice in it, but I won’t make you another drink”. I addressed the fact that it’s watered down and probably has no flavor and she takes the drink, pours half of it down the drain, fills it with ice and pours heavy cream that’s pretty much empty and been sitting out on the counter as well.
I just checked my food and left bc I was not having any of her attitude. I threw the drink away bc of reasons listed above.
Meal: I was told my food is delayed bc they had to remake my French toast bc they didn’t like the way my first batch turned out. Here I’m thinking ‘wow what a great customer service’. Only to realize after I got home they overcooked it and it was basically a brick of a toast. And while I was waiting for this “remake”, my other omelet meal was already done and was sitting there in a box, making the box soggy with grease and getting cold. By the time we ate it, it was inedible. Not bc of temperature, bc we would have heated it in the microwave, but bc it was melded to the box. The box got so soggy from the grease that when I went to pick it up out of the box to my plate, the paper came off with it and I was only able to pick out the top half of the food and eat what I could salvage.
