The food was well seasoned and full of flavor, I especially enjoyed the cajundillas and would 100% recommend it! I did not care for the boudin balls that were served with honey mustard. Kaiya took great care of us and was very candid. Great service and empathy from the manager who spoke to us. Overall, this location represents the state of Louisiana well.”

We also enjoyed the panang curry. Lastly, the staff was outstanding! We met the owner, his wife, and their son. All of them were hospitable, kind, and sincere. They gave us free Thai tea to try, and I would say that it also got authentic flavors.”

It was actually very good. The chicken was juicy, fish and shrimp were cooked right, fries and red beans were awesome. really clean place inside and the staff was awesome. Will definitely eat there again.”

“Greek Corner This was my very first experience eating Greek/Lebanon cuisine. I have to say it was fabulous! I cleaned my plate. The owners were very nice and helpful. She took her time to explain the menu and the various options with both food and drinks. I went with the Greek Beef Platter. The steak was cooked to perfection. The golden potatoes almost stole the show. They were so tender and had the right mixture of olive oil, butter and salt/pepper. Very good! I also highly recommend the salad. It had just the right amounts of fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives and a homemade dressing. The homemade Taziki sauce was fresh and really good with the pita bread and I mixed it with my salad as well. I really enjoyed the Mediterranean citrus mint tea. It was refreshing and light. After the meal, we enjoyed a delightful, hot jasmine tea. It was really good for the soul. The chef even came out to check on us and our meal. I was very impressed with this family owned business. I will be coming back and bringing friends. This was a great, authentic experience. And well worth it! Very reasonable prices for fresh- never frozen ingredients! 5 stars!!!”

“TLDR: food is great, prices are cheap, highly recommended. My wife and I live up in Benton and we have determined this place is not only the best Chinese takeout in our area, but also the cheapest. Is the customer service incredible? No. But the other two options in town also don't have incredible service. We choose to drive past two other places to go here because the food is better and it is significantly cheaper than the Benton/north bossier options. We typically get the house special lo mein and the general Tso's chicken. We've gotten other dishes, but those are the best in our opinion. We add extra vegetables to our lo mein and they charge $1 for that. Go give this place some business! It's great.”

“I am surprised that this restaurant does not have reviews more than 1 review. We heard about it through a friend, who said the tacos were the best! We went to try tacos for dinner. The restaurant/bar was quiet and not busy. We were seated immediately and the server took our drink and food order quickly. It didn't take but 10 minutes to bring our food to the table. We ordered 10 variety of tacos. Chicken, steak, pork, and tripe. It was definitely one of the best tacos we had, and their complementary chips, salsa and side sauces were also great! Our server was also nice and polite. We will be back again.”

In spite of the restaurant being very busy with the lunch crowd, Alexis was able to take care of us and several other tables without any delays. Their menu has most Mexican antojitos, from tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, Chile rellenos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, chilaquiles, flautas, mole, soups (caldo), and more. It is easy to find on Airline Drive just a couple blocks north of Interstate 20.The building clearly used to be something else, but has been repurposed and decorated with bright colors typical of Mexican culture. Everything I saw was clean.There was some music playing, but not too loud as to hinder conversation. There were booths and some tables, room enough for small groups or family gatherings.I stopped in for lunch and ordered the chicken tostadas. Order at the counter and take a seat. They were made quickly and delivered to my table with a smile. The tostadas were delicious. I had the agua de jamaica to drink.Having lived in Mexico, I can say that the tostadas are authentic. Judging by what I saw, I would guess the rest of the menu is also. I enjoyed it and think you will too.”

“I haven't been to Nicky's in over 25 years. Wow! I don't recall the tastes. Pictured is the Carne Asada. Both plates! I needed two "to go boxes" after having loaded up on chips and queso prior to getting my entre.So, on we go.My party of 7 was seated promptly, and initial drink orders were taken. We ordered three warm waters, two waters no ice, and two ice waters. One of my party suggested the server get an impressive tip if she got the water right. She did! We ordered two frozen peach margaritas, and one on the rocks. Also a couple of strawberry on the rocks as well as a Corona Michalada. The Margaritas are most likely the best in SBC. The Michalada has a creeper spice that prevented consumption at the bottom of the glass. Don't get me wrong, it was very good.We ordered a "large" queso. It was disappointing that it came in a 2/3 cup condiment bowl. I don't know how they could have a smaller container for the small version. My definition of large is at least twice this size. We had to order another. It was delicious and had the taste of authentic Mexican crema. The salsa was very good, and the chips were warm and kept coming.The entres were served in tremendous proportions, which more than made up for the lack of largeness of the queso. I can only attest for the Carne Asada, my entre. Though pricey, it was served on two large plates which made the price reasonable. The flavor of the meat is the second best that my 65 year old memory serves. I was raised in Dallas, which, arguably, is the Tex-Mex capitol of earth. My vote for the best flavor is from 45 years ago at a restaurant in Dallas that no longer exists. The point is, second best ever is outstanding coming from me. The quesadilla atop the skirt steak was filled with cheese and lightly grilled. If my diet permitted, I could eat a plate full of these things. The set up plate had a cheese enchilada thing, I guess. The menu didn't mention it. It was over stuffed with cheese and too rich for one sitting. I'm certain the last half of it will warm up fine later. The guacamole has unique texture with diced onions, and also is some of the best in SBC. The only flavor that was disappointing was the beans. They were very good, but not my expectation of Tex-Mex. I had a Mexican step-mother during my adolescents. Refried beans are made starting with simply beans and water. That's it. These had a soul food taste, maybe a smoked ham hock flavor. Sorry for the vague description. You'd have to try them to interpret my meaning. Some in my party loved them, as did I. Just not my idea of Mexican food.Good service is hard to find in restaurants now days, since COVID. Though there are some better in SBC, I tipped 30%. I live on Social Security if that tells you anything.All in all, this has achieved the top three of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Shreveport, Bossier City. Again, this means a lot coming from me. I'm hard to please when it comes to Mexican food. You'd have to make the trip to Dallas to get better.I'll definitely go back and highly recommend Nicky's.”

They always make sure we have everything that we need and check on us often.The food always hits the spot. I usually order a bacon and cheese omelette, which is so so yummy. My daughter loves the waffles. I also recommend the bacon, egg, and cheese Texas melt. Oh! And don't forget the hashbrowns. My daughter always steals my crunchy bits, which are arguably the best part.Kid-friendliness: The staff are always so sweet towards my toddler daughter even though she can be rowdy sometimes. Their menu has kid options, and they have high chairs.”

“I've driven by this place so many times and always meant to try it out. Today I finally did. Finding and navigating the drive thru is ridiculous. You have to drive behind several adjacent buildings and their respective parking lots to finally get to the drive thru. There is no speaker box and you can't order from the menu area like any other drive thru. Instead you order at the window. Despite all of that, the line did move quickly. Based on the aesthetic, I just assumed it was kind of like a 50's diner style place with burgers, fries, and shakes. But it's literally what the name says. Frozen custard. So don't be like me and make assumptions. All that said, I got the Bootdaddy and it was very good. If you want to indulge in a sugary bomb of deliciousness it's worth it. Just have somewhere to lie down after you've finished.”

“Jewella location: I go here at least once a week (sometimes up to 3) for a 4 piece fish with fries hush puppies an extra roll and a sweet tea. The fish is ALWAYS crispy. My order has NEVER been wrong and the roll is one of the best things I've ever eaten. The service at even the drive-thru is always on point and I believe it is a family owned business. Chick O Fish has been a fixture in my family for at least a year and I'm not mad at them taking my money!!”

Enjoyed a coronarita ($10) and Beef with shrimp fajitas. Expect an up charge for 1.50 on beef items. The fajitas ($18) were also flavorful, but lacked heat. So I ordered a whole roasted jalapeño ($0.60) anndddddd....... you guessed it. Needed more spice. My server was pleasant and made sure that I had everything I needed. All in all an enjoyable experience. $30- Plus tip & will feed me 2 more times.”

“Our family came to Flying Burger tonight to try it out for the first time. We were greeted by a young man who started taking our order at 4:50. The time is important to note because in the middle of taking our order, the manager yelled at the young man telling him to clock out because it wasn't 5 yet. We then had to go to a different cashier so they could finish taking our order. The manager apologized to us, but in reality, she should apologize to the employee. This is filet mignon cooked medium rare and it was AMAZING! Just like always! I switch out the vegetable mix for just broccoli and I omit the onions from the fried rice. They never have any problems with customizing my order like this. I wish I had taken pictures of other meals but I didn't think to. If you eat sushi then definitely give them a try because everyone that I know that eats sushi loves theirs. “I usually have them - the Shrimp PHO every time I stay at the horseshoe and it has been spectacular. Usually I order around dinner time or late snack. I went recently with some friends from out of town and was shocked by the TOTAL difference in the meal. The shrimp were not fresh or the normal looking shrimp that usually comes. It was a different breed. The veggies were not as good and we were given one plate of veggies as if we had to all split one plate. I was shocked and disappointed.. I don't know if they changed distribution or what.. I will have to give them some time before I go back.”

Kaiya took great care of us and was very candid. Great service and empathy from the manager who spoke to us. Overall, this location represents the state of Louisiana well.”

The restaurant/bar was quiet and not busy. We were seated immediately and the server took our drink and food order quickly. It didn't take but 10 minutes to bring our food to the table. We ordered 10 variety of tacos. Chicken, steak, pork, and tripe. It was definitely one of the best tacos we had, and their complementary chips, salsa and side sauces were also great! “We had a party of 12 and everyone's food came out cold. The butter didn't even melt on top of our steaks they were so cold. We asked for the manager. Marcus came out and blamed the server, he took no ownership in the buisiness, the food or the Salt Grass Brand. How disappointing that a manager does not know how to manage his kitchen and blames it on the server. We were a military table and low and behold he granted us the military discount which we were entitled to anyway as an I'm sorry. I've never seen a manager who doesn't care and treats his employees and guests this way. I hope this company pays attention and takes this opportunity to replace or retrain this site.”
