The fish had a good crunch and the batter was perfect. And you know how hard it is to cater fried food for 100’s of people?!? They were working so hard. I ordered the BBQ burger with potato salad and my boyfriend got the shrimp po’ boy.
The service was quick and friendly, and I’d be back every week if we weren’t from out of town.

“If you are ever in Shreveport, Louisiana, I highly recommended stopping by Howard’s Roadhouse BBQ & getting some of the BEST bbq that I have ever tasted! I've eaten bbq literally in 27 different states & this is the best I've had. We got chicken wings, brisket, ribs, baked beans, dirty rice & potato salad & each & every bite was amazing! The homemade sauce was unique & incredible too!”

“We live in Fort Worth and our youngest goes to college in Pensacola so we make the trip between the two cities several times a year. We make note of good service stations and restaurants along the way. This particular weekend, we had picked our son up from college for the summer. We were coming through Shreveport about dinnertime and decided to look for a Mexican restaurant with good reviews not too far off of I-20. We found Amigos. While the restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, the inside is clean and colorful and Ramon was super friendly. The chips and salsa were excellent. The salsa had just the right amount of heat and flavor. The queso blanco was great as well. My son had the cheese enchiladas and said they were some of the best he's had. My wife had a meal that came with a couple of cheese enchiladas and a taco. She loved it. She even ate all of her rice and beans which she rarely does. I ended up ordering the pollo enchiladas with mole sauce. Excellent! Ramon was great and attentive as both an owner and a waiter. While the restaurant was empty when we arrived shortly after 5:00, it was packed by the time we left an hour or so later. The locals apparently love Amigos and that speaks volumes about the place. We'll be back when we head back to Pensacola in August. Blessings!”

“The food was absolutely, positively AWESOME. I had no idea what to expect. They're just chicken fingers right?. Wrong. Not at canes. Everything was so flavorful. Unfortunately in Atlanta we have Zaxby's. Not sure if I can go back to Zaxby's after having canes. I'll have to try the other places in Atlanta. But I will ALWAYS come back to canes when I'm in the area. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. ☝☝☝ I give them a 10+ rating.”

“I have been twice now in 2 days and I had the same thing each day. I love this place. I had the whatphilly with cheese for $ 9.99 and a frie and drink. Good deal and it's good. I was a little disappointed they were out or tea. But that's ok. I highly recommend ? this place if your in Shreveport. The lady that works up front is very nice and friendly. Didn't get her name. The place is clean and plenty of tvs to watch while your having lunch.

“Great place to stop at 3 in the morning for some good breakfast. The staff was really helpful and the food was cooked well. I ordered the all-star breakfast with orange juice and it really helped me to the hotel. Will definitely be back for more good food and great customer service.”
