We drive over from Longview, TX once or twice a month. The food has always been great and never had a bad meal. I wish they had a restaurant closer. Go give them a try, you will enjoy the food.
I hadn't been to Jan's in over 20 years. I heard that the second generation was running it now and I expected a drop off in quality. I was glad to see that the catfish was still amazing! Crisp filets that were flaky on the inside. Great meal and great service. I'll be back the next time I'm in town
Fish and shrimp is delicious 😋. Fried okra and baked potato is great also. I love the appetizer with the beans and hush puppies 😋.
