“This place is amazing. The food was delicious. The tuna tostado appetizer was my absolute favorite thing and I can't wait to go back to order it again. We were very pleased with both entrees, the catch of the day pistachio crusted fish and the scallops. We ended with the bread pudding, which is more of a berry cobbler than a traditional bread pudding, but very good and not too heavy at the end of the meal. Will definitely be back. Upscale place but didn't feel too fancy and service was 100%.“

“I haven’t had the opportunity to go eat at the restaurant but what I want to say is they did catering for a Texas fishing tournament and it was so good! The fish had a good crunch and the batter was perfect. And you know how hard it is to cater fried food for 100’s of people?!? They were working so hard. “This was my first visit to Krab Kings and the service is excellent. No long wait and the food is good. The place is clean and the servants are attentive and make you feel welcomed. I opted for some chicken and sausage gumbo along with some crab legs. No complaints.“

You order at the counter pay and seat yourself when it's ready the counter person did bring us our food he was very nice and a good worker, there were a lot of take outs the food was good not the best and it wasn't priced badly. But the whole place could be cracked with a server, some cocktails even if they sold premixed frozen drinks like you can buy at the store. If you're hungry and in a hurry this place will not disappoint you but don't take your hot date here. She'll want something with a little more attitude.“

“I'm from Alabama. I saw this restaurant on an episode of Restaurant Impossible and the family story really touched my heart. I just had to visit Eddie's Restaurant when my husband and I passed through Shreveport and they did not disappoint! I told them why I was there and they were so appreciative. We were treated like royalty! And the food was simply delicious! We brought family and friends with us and they all had rave reviews of the food and service. I could just feel the love of God in this family as they were so warm and friendly. I have been spreading the word and sending links to my family and friends!“

Got home there was no fries and no slaw and no pickled tomatoes. Seafood had good taste. Ordered muffaleta. Tasted ok but had no olive relish on it. Little things but for price gotta speak of it. .“

“As usual, we were looking for some place different to eat and came across Bergeron's Boudin & Cajun Meats. While it's not your normal restaurant, it does offer excellent food. They even have items frozen, so you can take your favorites home. We both loved the Chicken Bites and Boudin. I had the Chicken Wrap and could have had more. It's located off East Kings Highway in Shreveport away from the heavy traffic areas.“

“I’ve been driving over from Marshall, Texas. The crawfish is excellent. The neck bones and turkey necks with gravy are seasoned to perfection. Shane’s used to be my go to for crawfish but I’m here to tell you Lil Animals have moved them around.“

It was also on regular white bread which was amazing because I don’t think you can get that anywhere anymore. It’s always some hard artisan crap. I also got two soups. Both homemade, cream of broccoli and clam chowder. Both delicious can’t imagine how you would improve them. Finally, the surprising star of the show was the chef salad, which I added in house marinated onions to. to be honest when I first opened it, I seen all this deliciousness from the meats and cheese and tomatoes and the onions and then a very small little cup of dressing, but let me tell you what buddy; big things come in small packages. With the onions already marinated in their homemade vinaigrette that little cup was all I needed. one of the best salads I’ve ever had in my life no cap. I’ll give this place a 8.5 out of 10 just to leave room to get better if that’s even possible. I cannot stress this enough to restaurants. You cannot beat simplicity and consistency. Jacquelyn’s is another diamond in the Louisiana rough and is officially getting added on the list next to Ernest’s of places to visit every time I’m in Shreveport/Bossier.“

We will be back! Our compliments to the Chef, to James our server and his assistant, Devon.
