I'm from Alabama. I saw this restaurant on an episode of Restaurant Impossible and the family story really touched my heart. I just had to visit Eddie's Restaurant when my husband and I passed through Shreveport and they did not disappoint! I told them why I was there and they were so appreciative. We were treated like royalty! And the food was simply delicious! We brought family and friends with us and they all had rave reviews of the food and service. Amazing food and outstanding customer service\\! Everything was delicious, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Eddie’s | Seafood & Soul Food Restaurant is a great family run seafood joint and soul food restaurant. The food is amazing, with fried pork chops, rice and gravy, greens, and a hamburger steak smothered in Eddie's gravy. The stuffed shrimp are on point, and the butterfly, deviened, fried shrimp are to die for, golden brown and seasoned just right. Flaky catfish and yummy house made tartar sauce are fantastic. Everything is good, fresh, and hot. The decor inside is absolutely precious. The cashier is always polite and friendly. The proprietor, Mrs. Mavice, is equally precious and comes to the table to talk. The only issue is that it was warm in the dining room, and the serving size is huge. Do not let the size of this place prevent a visit. Would be a great TripleD joint.
