“Food taste like a good home cooked meal. For an appetizer they bring you a bowl of pinto beans and some hot water cornbread. They are also on the menu. They used to be really good but lately they are a little more spicy than usual. We were told the lady who makes them had covid and has to add more spice before she can taste it.Chicken fried steak is really good. The hamburgers are good. The fried fish is fried just right. Our grandson loves their spaghetti. We have eaten here quite a few times and have never had a complaint. Prices are very reasonable. “I work construction. Been at many places all over the country. I’ve eaten at some pretty decent places in Center TX and Carthage TX not far from here. This is the best place to eat in 50 miles and I dare say a top 5 in my nationwide experience. Excellent gem. Great food at reasonable prices. Parking isn’t great on a Friday night but this place is worth walking to if you gotta park down the street a bit. Quit googling where to eat. This is it. You’re welcome.“
