1st time going - country setting, food served hot, nice people / Honey Bun Cake was delicious / reasonable prices
I had the 3 piece fish grilled....just simply the best. Seasoning was on point....the pinto beans are soooooo good. I will definitely be back. Friendly people, great atmosphere, FANTASTIC FOOD!!!!! Alissa was fantastic thank you
Cute little place if you're in the area. Everything was very good. The free pinto beans were excellent. Some of the best I've ever had.

River's Edge Restaurant offers homely meals like pinto beans and hot water cornbread. The chicken fried steak, hamburgers, and fried fish are delicious, while the spaghetti is a hit with kids. The 4 oz chicken fried steak with Cajun fries and macaroni and cheese is outstanding, and the fried chicken salad is really good. Despite some spiciness issues with dishes, the food is consistently tasty. The portions are large, prices are reasonable, and the staff is attentive, with waitresses like Alissa being especially wonderful. The ambiance is welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. It may be a bit tricky to locate, but the friendly service and good food make it worth the effort. The place is much bigger on the inside than it is on the outside and is a popular spot for the after-church crowd on Sunday, with great Sunday specials. While the menu could have more options, the food is excellent.
