“It was my birthday. I took five of my granddaughters and two boyfriends.we had great food and the service was excellent too. My girls love good steak. Yeah it cost me a little over three hundred. But, ever one had nice ribeye or fillet. One boyfriend had fish.he said it was really good. We will do this again. It was the girls first time here. They have a new favorite place to get steak. I don't mind paying for quality. That's what we got. I have been here a few times it never disappoints. We just need a reason to go.“

Every meal I have eaten there has been outstanding. It's not a luxurious place but the food makes up for everything. I highly recommend this place. You will not regret it.“
“Hosted our Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Family Fun Night. Great price for a fantastic venue. Top of the line service from Raleigh Andrews who set us up with some wonderful catered food from The Smoking Oyster. Had trouble finding a DJ last minute so she also suggested live music from Taryn Ashley & TJ McAlexander who turned out to be incredible. Both musicians are very talented and even better to get them both playing together. Extremely friendly and helpful staff all day long and a wonder bartender Summer Grimes. Highly recommend for any type of event/party and a perfect venue for a wedding and wedding reception. Do yourself a favor and check out this one of a kind venue!“

“On a road trip and searching for a good unquie place to get some delicious food. Google maps said they were open but when we pulled in the driveway it looked closed. After driving for hours, we were tired and hungry and did not want to have to search for another option, So I called to see if they might be open. The owner was in the building but did not open for a few hours yet he offered to make us food. It was not only an incredibly nice gesture but the food was outstanding. The building and atmosphere are also full of personality. True southern hospitality that was appreciated.“

“Danny, the owner came and visited with me several times, making me feel right at home and very welcome. Assured me the food was spectacular, and it was. Sunny the manager came and we talked for some time, again, felt right at home. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. Very quiet and I also talked with other patrons. Destiny, my server was an absolute delight. I took her suggestions and my grilled, blackened fish and grilled shrimp were perfection. I loved the dill tartar sauce, the pinto beans yummy. Also the honey glaze or sauce on the brussle sprouts, made my mouth water and go back for more. I visited the Pelican Seafood restaurant at 4 p.m and enjoyed my visit, the staff and bonus, excellent food. I will go back to try another menu item. I am excited to make their acquaintance. The love, was the special ingredient that made my visit and my food, cause for repeat business.“

“My wife and I came to Texarkana to run a few errands and grab a bite to eat. Seafood was on her mind so we decided to stop here. This place had some of the best waitstaff and a great bartender. The drinks were perfect and the platters we had tasted amazing. It was some of the best seafood we have had in awhile. John was our waiter tonight, he was awesome and recommend having him serve you.“
“We are from South LA and have eaten crawfish from New Orleans to past Lafayette and every Cajun town in between. The crawfish at Hot Tails blew us away. All three of us agreed these were hands down the best bugs we have ever eaten. They were perfectly spicy with the most juice and flavor we've ever tasted. They are so clean too! We wiped out 15lbs and took 20 home to share. We are here for a horse show and will return next year to enjoy Hot Tails again. Also, the place is cute and fun with a great vibe.
