“The food was good, but the green beans were to salty. It's always pretty noisey in there when the restaurant is full. Will I go back? Yes. I really love the food. Staff is always pleasant. Occasionally it takes a little to long to get your food though.“
“What a great place to grab some some lunch in Shreveport. The service was fast and very friendly. The plate lunch specials are awesome. I wish they were closer than 3 hours. Will definitely be back when we are in the area. Make sure and have some pie.“
“My son and I had a fabulous dinner. Everything was exceptional; sheer perfection. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with excellent service for the evening. My favorite was the scallops which were exquisite. Do go. It’s a dining delight! ❤️“
“This is the perfect neighborhood restaurant! The catfish are fresh and fried to perfection; crispy on the outside, white and flakey inside. The fries are crispy home-style, slightly seasoned, but not heavily. The side salad has mixed greens and cherry tomatoes and is a generous serving. The restaurant is in an established neighborhood and is very casual. Others at my table were very happy with their selections included fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, and a shrimp poboy. There service was great and we were able to talk to the owner as well. We will be back soon too try other menu items. The hamburgerslook great!“
“Wow! What an experience! If you’re looking for the absolute best food in Shreveport with a low key farm style atmosphere, this is your place! The burgers are second to none and surprise, the brussels plate is out of this world!! Gullos is definitely a must visit!!“
“Oh my goodness!! Dillas is my new fave place in Shreveport for gluten free foods! I have Celiac disease and had no reaction. I had a gluten free chicken quesadilla that I added veggies to. My friend orders the Black & Blue. Also had the fries and hatch queso. Definitely recommend whether you are gluten free or not!Vegetarian options: They have Salads and veggies for quesadilla. Not sure about cheese options.Dietary restrictions: Best gluten free tortillas I've ever tasted! All quesadillas can be made gluten free.“
“Enjoy going to Bears Everytime. The staff are very nice and accommodating and the food is amazing. It is one of the main reasons that I go there. Pool tables are great and they have a good selection of pool cues, chalk, and other pool accessories.“
“The Veggies were wonderful and the cornbread. My pork chop wasn’t edible at all , fried so much was a super dry inedible mess. The service was great and atmosphere. I’ll go back but don’t recommend the pork chop apparently the cook cant fry very well .“
“Food was good. I got the buffalo bacon with double fries and a queso. It was great, I added queso and brisket to it. I will say they were skimpy with the bacon and brisket. But all in all it was great. My drink had to much ice though but I can't dock points because of that. Overall great experience!“
“The best burger I've ever had! Super large and meaty! Has just the right amount of seasoning. Enough to eat twice or three times. Best fried pitches I've had as well. The staff is young and nice. The order takes forever to come out, so you have to be patient but it's worth it. A small mom and pop restaurant but it was clean and cute. Definitely one of my staple restaurants to have burgers!“
“This place is great!! My wife was turned onto Happy Belly’s by a friend/Church Member. We came here as a family a day or so later. We loved it great flavor choices. My wife loves the peach and the strawberry and watermelon flavors are great too!!!! Five stars“
“It was my first time visiting and everything was great. Clean, friendly workers, Fresh and hot food, no long wait time for food, and made sure we needed anything or had everything while dining in on our weekly date. We will be coming back often.“
“I use to frequent here all the time for lunch. They recently did some revamping and no longer serve hot lunches as they've converted to more of a market. They still offer daily lunches but, they are in the market section and are offered cold. However, they will warm the dish up if u ask and want to dine in. I love so many food items here there's too much to name. But, just to name a few: the stuffed chicken with capers, the chicken salad, the strawberry salad with the strawberry vinegarette, and I must mention the homemade bread pudding! Yall! That bread pudding is heaven on earth! When my aunt passed I thought I would never taste another bread pudding as good as hers. But child, let me tell u, if u go there and don't get it, u r depriving urself of a happy day! I'll be back soon!“
“We are repeat customers for a few years. THIS YEAR is our 1st to ORDER TURKEYS. We ordered 1 smoked & 1 roasted. Both were moist, delicious & well worth the price & worth our drive (40 min 1 way). Also this is supporting local 100%. Ms. Karen, Eric & Mrs Kay are the best cooking crew ever!“
“food was outstanding my shrimp was cooked perfectly seasoned just right with a touch of heat and I love their coleslaw. Restaurant itself is little funky. I can see why a lot of people came in and took their food and go, but they were very happy that help us with our party of six and even brought the food out to the table where we were waiting. Don't be put off by its exterior. It's a good place to have a great taste of Louisiana food.“
“We loved the Cotton Boll Grill. It was clean and decorative. There were antique things hanging on the wall. It felt like stepping back in time. The staff got along and things seemed to go smoothly. The beef tips were delicious. You have to try the fresh hot water bread because it was delicious. Our waitress was good. Our cook was nice.“
“Seems kind of small, overall was great for my friends birthday dinner. They were able to accommodate us with a secluded area so that was great. Mrs. Linda (BARTENDER) ask her for the Lemon drop ? its close to closing so that's probably why everything seemed so rushed but food was on point everything was seasoned to perfection ? ? must try if your in the area.“
“Stopped in for a quick hot roast beef Panini. I left off their beatiful caramelized onions this time. I did have the cheese and horseradish mayo with a side of their long sliced fries.Simple and so satisfying. The lovely woman who took care of me at the counter was so outgoing and helpful, a super plus for me.Lots of choices, soups, salads, hot & cold sandwiches, desserts of all kinds to tempt you. This is a hidden gem.Highly recommend. The 1st time you go try to alot at least an hour because you'll want to browse the shop.Wheelchair accessibility: graded concrete painted (bright blue )“
“Hands down one of the best restaurants in Shreveport if your looking for an amazing southern home cooked meal. The exact definition of Comfort Food not to mention the best waitresses in town. The customer service was superb! Every time we come to Shreveport from Dallas we have to eat here at least once!“
“My wife, a lifelong resident, has oft raved about Strawn's, and fondly opined about her mother's Love for their Strawberry pie(s). I had opportunity to provide 2 of them to our family gathering for Thanksgiving, and finally got to try a Strawn's pie. It was unequivocally the best I'd ever had, provoking a desire to try everything they present and offer. I got one of those 'holiday's calendars, that show every recognized and observed holiday in America. I'm going through it, choosing a list of holidays you newly observe, giving me reason by occasion to stop and get a Strawn's menu item to celebrate - at least once a month every month going forward.“
“One of the best Waffle House I have visited! Clean, well maintained, friendly and professional staff. Food was awesome-as usual for any Waffle House.Dietary restrictions: plenty of menu options and the staff will get you what you needKid-friendliness: very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: easy single story access“
“This really does bring you back... over and over again! My guilty pleasure comfort food. Everything is sooo good! If the line of cars is not overflowing into the street pop in and get you some! Love the sweet corn grits as a side but they are all good. Get the peppers too for the full experience.Parking: It's much faster to park and walk up in most cases. They are both pretty quick.“
“I've been living here for a while and seen this place being built. I thought it was going to be just another fried chicken place so I never took the time to stop and try it. I went for my first time and was surprised at the menu to begin with. My wife and I both got the fried shrimp poboy. I thought it was going to be another place that makes poboys out of popcorn shrimp but to my surprise it was jumbo shrimp. Not only was it cooked well but it tasted good and fresh. The fries could rival any fries. All in all very satisfied with the food.“
“Awesome selection of beer, cocktails AND food/entrees...a hidden gem in downtown Shreveport! The muffaletta and crispy brussel sprouts were OUTSTANDING. The staff and barkeeps are also top notch...so glad we swung through this pub when we overnighted in Shreveport!“
“By far one of my favorite bar stops on this side of town. The bathrooms are always clean and the bartenders are always friendly. It isn't ever too smoky, probably due to the large size of the bar. My absolute favorite part? By far the food! As soon as I get in the door I gotta order a Philly Cheese Steak and onion rings.“
“3/22/24. This was our first time here. We went for our anniversary. Logan was our server. He was very informative and service oriented. Everything except for the brocolini ?was delicious. From our spirited drinks to our appetizer's of deviled eggs , crab cake and whatever the special was that day…to our dinner of prime rib roasted garlic mashed potatoes … straight to our dessert. Love this place and will be back soonTHANKS“
“This place is awesome. If you're craving shrimp and grits look no further! These folks do it right. The blueberry margarita is fabulous. Ask for Melanie to be your server and you won't regret it. She is top notch. The location is easy in and out, the restaurant is spotless and includes outdoor dining as well.“
