The food is pretty good. You have to show a lot of patience when waiting on your food especially when it's crowded. This is for from a fast food joint. But, it's the best you are going to get on Monkhouse.
The food was great and the people that work there were very friendly and nice they had smiles on their faces I felt really welcome at the place I drove all the way from Texas to try this place out I will be back

food was outstanding my shrimp was cooked perfectly seasoned just right with a touch of heat and I love their coleslaw. Restaurant itself is little funky. I can see why a lot of people came in and took their food and go, but they were very happy that help us with our party of six and even brought the food out to the table where we were waiting. Don't be put off by its exterior. It's a good place to have a great taste of Louisiana food.
