“Straight Jackets, formerly Bayou Thunder, is a live music venue/bar/event center. Easily accessed from all directions, close to I-20. The new idoor stage is sizeable.... there's also an outdoor stage. This place features local bands and nationally known bands. Powerman5k and adema will be there soon! Drinks drinks drinks! They have the best tenders in town. Its a lively fun place to be. Multiple T.V.'s , three video poker machines, video golf, dart boards, dart league, pool tables, pool league. Karaoke on a premium system. I think this should be the prime place for karaoke. You can tell a lot went into the sound system and stage. There's an ATM, digital jukebox with a HUGE selection of music. They have a small selection of food. The wings are good 👍🏼.“

This is the place to be on the weekend or if you just need a drink throughout the week come see Brian he is the best . RUN dont walk . If he is not here then try the youree store but ask for Brian. “I was utterly surprised at this spot our friends invited us to. I'm so happy they did! This place gave the vibes I normally get when I visit big cities! The band was amazing! “Firstly, I love this place, but unfortunately my last order was made incorrectly. I always order Cajun Curse which has Margarita (green color), Vodka Freeze (white color) and Long Island Tea (brown color). It is noticeable when one is missing or less is added of one of the 3. There was no Margarita and very little Long Island Tea. Of course the taste was off, but since I drank half before I really looked down in it, I can't take it back. Please instruct your personnel on how to make each drink you offer. $26 for a gallon is not real expensive, but my taste buds were not satisfied. This happened once before only they added very little Long Island Tea. Sigh ...it has been a while since I came because of this. My brother likes the Cajun Curse and he noticed something was wrong. Please take time to make everything correctly.“

“We went around 10pm on a Monday and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The bartender and her regulars at the bar took great care of us and made great suggestions for fun drinks that included some delicious flaming shots.
We ordered pizza and a quesadilla from the kitchen and they were both both good portion sizes. The pizza was about average but the bell peppers we ordered on it were particularly nice and fresh cut.
The games around the place made for an easy good time. Dollar air hockey and the huge Tetris game upstairs were the hits for us.“

I have met some truly great people and it makes a lasting impression when the bartenders don't pressure customers to play music if they don't want and when the bartender is not getting drunk with customers while working. “This was my first time dining here. I had the Mixed Platter, it was delicious. The brisket was so tender, and the ribs were delish but had almost no meat on them. The green beans were definitely a hit. I always go to the other barbecue place close by and I was just wanting to try something new. I will definitely take my son in there to have some brisket.“

We decided to try Blind Tiger based on the many positive reviews, and it absolutely did not disappoint!

From the moment you walk in, the restaurant gives off a nostalgic, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. We were seated upstairs, which was perfect. If you’re looking for a little more privacy or have a larger group, I highly recommend requesting an upstairs table.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and our waitress, Lane, was outstanding. She checked on us regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food arrived quickly, and everything was fresh and flavorful.

We ordered the Cajun Sampler, which included blackened catfish, fried crawfish, and étouffée, along with a cup of gumbo. We also shared the Mardi Gras corn and fried corn on the cob. Everything was delicious, but the gumbo was truly the star of the meal—hands down one of the best we’ve had!

Parking was easy as well. You can choose between garage parking or street parking, and we were able to park our F-450 dually on the street without any issues.

Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience with great food, outstanding service, and a fun atmosphere. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Blind Tiger to anyone visiting the area.“
