“Connie bought her bar 41 years ago. This is the oldest bar in town continually owned by a woman. It’s a piece of history and treasure! In the tradition of the old bars of Nashville it holds the quiet flavor of long ago. The beer is cold. The atmosphere is inviting. Come as you are. Shoot a little pool, visit with friends. If you EVER watched Cheers and wished you could go where everybody knows your name, MUST go to Connie’s.“

“First time visit to bourbon bar is going to make me a regular! I had such a good time. Anna was so friendly and patient because I’m not a big drinker so she helped me find something I would enjoy. The bar was busy but the girls never seemed overwhelmed- great bartenders!“

“My wife and I live near Tyler, TX. We stumbled upon Ki’ Mexico a couple years ago during one of our visits to Shreveport. Now every time we come to Shreveport we make it a point to eat there. The service has been great and the food is phenomenal!!! Their poblano tacos and guacamole are absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to eat there again!!!“
“Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all, pretty easy to walk-in & order from a large menu on the wall. We were greeted when we walked in and as we stood in line. The young lady was knowledgeable of the drinks and made suggestions. We took advantage of the happy hour with a buy one get one free drink. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area and around for the happy hour.“

“The Library on Fern is an absolute gem! My husband and I dinned there yesterday. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service made the experience even better. Our waitress, McKenzie, was awesome, friendly, attentive, and on top of everything we needed. We were also impressed that both the manager and the owner personally checked on us during our visit. The manager even took time to chat with us and share some of the exciting upgrades coming soon. The newly renovated patio is beautiful, and we were lucky enough to be among the first guests to enjoy it. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We will definitely be back soon! Highly recommend!“
