“I can say this for a fact: the best customer experience here in town. Of all the places you can go get something to eat from here, from the fast food locations to the entrepreneur owned locations, this one is the best hands down. They make you feel like family. There is another restaurant in town, and I will not mention no names, but when I have been there, and it's been exactly twice, it did not feel welcoming. It felt like what you want, lol. But this place is the opposite. Always a smile and a kind word. I love this restaurant. Did I mention the food. She may not offer as many dishes as the aforementioned restaurant, but the food is soooo much better. ?“
“Did not realize it was a restaurant, used to be a grocery store, but service was great, cookies I bought were very good, tho to soft for my taste.Parking: Just a little hard to get out, had to back out into main street, the drive thru good idea, will use it next time I go.“
“I was looking for a small local restaurant that serves burgers and fried fish and I really lucked out with the Soul Palace. The fish was perfectly cooked in cornmeal and the onion rings are hand cut and battered. If the burger is as good as it he fish it will absolutely be a Trifecta!“
“Great little "hole" in the wall. We stopped for lunch in our way to Houston, great little place. We enjoyed a variety of lunch sandwiches and a delicious slice of butterfinger pie. My husband loved the complimentary pinto beans. Everything was terrific!“
“Coming through town and stopped at Dinner Belle…so happy we did. Both my daughter and I had the french toast sandwich with sausage and the French toast was perfect. It was good homestyle French toast, nothing fancy, just delicious. My husband had the fried pork chop and it was perfect. The service was great and I loved how they treated us like we were regulars that have been in there a millions times.“
“We called ahead and stopped with our transport today on our way through to Houston coming from Canada. We were craving some cat fish. We ordered two 3 piece catfish meals and were shocked when we got back to the truck and saw how much food we had! Huge portions!!! And soooo delicious. Fish is great and coleslaw was so yummy too! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal today and we have lots left over for a snack tonight. Thank you Porky’s staff for your excellent service and extra pieces of fish for our drive!! ❤️“

“My wife and I visited here in Marshall for dinner a few days before Thanksgiving. First, we were a bit disappointed because the décor definitely seemed was more like what you would expect from a standard non-descript hotel than a pub. The food was good, however. The Irish Guinness Beef Stew was very rich and tasty and the Pork Chop was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. The best thing about our experience was our server, Zara. She manned the entire front of house, which came up to 6 tables before we left, and she managed every table quickly and efficiently with a smile. She really sold this place to us. Thanks Zara!“
“Everything was good. Our waitress was great. I went on a dinner date, they saw me going to the bathroom and didn't bring her drinks until I returned to the table. Something that little is so important on a first date with someone you don't know well.“
“STOP at this store!! If you pass it, turn around and go back!!! The food is wonderful. I had the best chicken fried steak sandwich w/onion rings. My wife and daughter had the steak fingers with fried okra. My son had the chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was really good.“
