“Visitor from out town. Food was really GOOD the Cole slaw had a lasting NEW taste. Make great health snack. The hush puppies has extra ingredients and crispy soft taste. Tried their shrimp and fish. The fish had a light color crisp crust just right. The shrimp had a small amount of crust; next order I would request for just bit more of the tasty crust on shimp. The red beans and rice was so good with nice taste in the juice. Most meals comes will fries; but from healthy next I time would love to switch fries for the unique tasting Cole slaw instead. Food is not greasy but hot, quick. For the outside patio would suggest cleaning the seats and tables and checking seating area for trash. But Marilynn's is worth more visits.“

For those who do not know, they are back in their original location. They were at the Sonic next door for a time whilst they rebuilt. Both locations are like right next to each other, so it's easy enough to find if you've never been to the original location.

Food.... great, as well !! I had the shrimp fried rice. It is one of the best in town !
The Miso soup hits the spot ! Our drinks were refilled in a timely manner ( a small thing, yet the mark of good service).

My fave item is the Pink Lady roll. I think it's a roll ( I did not order this time as I was not very hungry).

The indoor is a wonderful, cozy atmosphere. Very much as I remember the original. Plenty of good seating and lotsa TVs if you want to watch sports. There is a bar you can sit at.

There is an cute outdoor patio.

The place is on Line Ave, right next to Chiante. There is plenty of parking. If not right up in front, there is a parking lot, too.

Wheel chair accessible. Handicap spaces right up front and easy to get in the restaurant.“

“I went to lunch today with my husband for my birthday. The cashier, Ms Ann, was an absolute ray of sunshine! First, she complimented me on how I was dressed, which was my normal work attire, and I had shared that today is my birthday. Miss and proceeded to wish me a happy birthday and call me a Queen! In my opinion, Ms. Ann should be the Jason’s Deli of Shreveport LA mascot! If she was the cashier, every time, I visited the deli, I would come in every single day! Not only did she make my day, she made me smile and made my heart so very happy! Her wide, very genuine smile, is what every customer should see! “Best, most tasty, Chinese food we’ve had in Shreveport in years! We eat Chinese a lot, but our precious favorite place of 20+ years became kinda like “different” 🤔😢 leaving us and our money searching for a new favorite place. Been trying out all in the 71105, 71106, and 71115 over the past year. This was the BEST! Chicken meat was good quality and very flavorful. Plenty of nuts in Kung Pa Chicken dish. Excellent lo mein, great flavor. All our dishes were fresh and delish!“

“First time at a Golden Chick and I really enjoyed the food.
Not wanting fried food the Roasted Chicken is very good. Nice flavoring and super tender. Mashed Potatoes and Gravy were fine but the Yeast Roll was great.
Even the prepackaged Brownie was good, nice and chewy.
I would come back and the staff were friendly. Location was very clean.“

“I have no idea why some people seem to dislike Olive Garden in general, and why this particular Branch has gotten poor reviews from colleagues. I have been in several times, and I am always treated with wonderful service and delicious food! No complaints from me.“

“First time visit husband and I . I gave the food a four because it was salty. Nice size portion and price was ok for what we ordered which was a fried seafood platter $28.00. Everything else on the menu overpriced. All soft drinks 3.95 and a refill is 1.95.
Never been to a restaurant and they charge for drink refills on soft drinks.

Ambiance is nice and customer service was good.

They charge a 18% automatic gratuity for more than 1 person on ticket which is fine for me I always leave 20% regardless but usually the gratuity is on a party of 6 or more.

Also a To Go Daquari spot across walkway with music and outdoor seating at both locations.

Nice spot probably during summer and it's next door to Ballys Casino and hotel if you want to gamble.“

“Just tried Marco’s Pizza for the first time. The staff was cool, and our pizza came surprisingly fast, still hot when we got home. Toppings, like bacon, ham, sausage, and pepperoni, were tasty, but the dough was kinda bland. Thinking of giving them another shot to try a different flavor though!“

“Chic fil a is so good always fresh but there is one guy that sometimes takes the orders in the morning.. he’s very dry and not friendly at all like the other workers. He just tries to get you out of line quicker, doesn’t even ask what type of protein you want in your breakfast bowl or burrito. He’s given me the wrong order twice. Other than that the food is always delicious and their customer service is spectacular!“

“Stopped by for lunch. The restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean, the employees were friendly, & the food was delivered faster than expected. Chicken was juicy & the crinkle fries were thick. The wings usually come with the lemon pepper on them but we requested the seasoning seperate as we prefer a dry rub seasoning vs buttered sauces. Everything was great, would definitely visit again.“

“I'm here for work and was looking to go inside and eat due to the scorching temperature but this establishment doesn't offer that there's tables outside but not what I was looking for on that day just had to settle for a drive through experience which they forgot my salad so I still had to get off to get my salad over all the food is always great staff was nice and helpful“
