Visitor from out town. Food was really GOOD the Cole slaw had a lasting NEW taste. Make great health snack. The hush puppies has extra ingredients and crispy soft taste. Tried their shrimp and fish. The fish had a light color crisp crust just right. The shrimp had a small amount of crust; next order I would request for just bit more of the tasty crust on shimp. It’s a nice take on some of the best different lil places down south…. Gives you a good feel for a true classic southern dish…Or several!! Serving HOTT & FRESH Beignets all day!!! You and your family should def check it out!!!

Marilynn's Place is a unique restaurant located in an old gas station. The red beans and rice, salmon bagels, and shrimp po boy are amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. The catfish po boy and NOLA bread and butter pudding are delicious. Customers have praised the fried crawfish, crawfish etouffee, and beignets as some of the best they've ever had. The setup may be odd, but it's an interesting place that offers a wonderful dining experience. Marilynn, the owner, has created a beautiful home for loyal fans and customers who continue to return for the top-notch Louisiana-style cuisine. The atmosphere is laid-back, making guests feel at home, and while some find the gumbo a bit salty, it remains thick, rich, and full of seafood. The staff goes the extra mile, ensuring a pleasant experience even during longer wait times.
