Just a wonderful experience all around from the awesome staff to the amazing food will definitely return!!!
We had the brisket po-boys the other day, bread was dry very little meat or lettuce, brisket had no flavor, pretty sad it took 30 minutes to get our order, staff was too busy laughing and having a good time to be efficient, will never repeat this trip.
I would not repeat this experience/meal except good beignets.

Marilynn's Place is a unique restaurant located in an old gas station. The red beans and rice, salmon bagels, and shrimp po boy are amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. The catfish po boy and NOLA bread and butter pudding are delicious. Customers have praised the fried crawfish, crawfish etouffee, and beignets as some of the best they've ever had. The setup may be odd, but it's an interesting place that offers a wonderful dining experience. Marilynn, the owner, has created a beautiful home for loyal fans and customers who continue to return for the top-notch Louisiana-style cuisine. The atmosphere is laid-back, making guests feel at home, and while some find the gumbo a bit salty, it remains thick, rich, and full of seafood. The staff goes the extra mile, ensuring a pleasant experience even during longer wait times.
