“Was directed to the restaurant by Nate at the front desk of the Holiday Inn Express. Had a bowl of red beans and rice and a to go order of bread pudding. The food was as good as anywhere that I've had and I have had that meal in myriad locations countless times. The aptly named and convivial Belle served me with attentive expediency and cordiality. While somewhat elevated in price for such plebian fare I was nonetheless pleased overall. Reccomended.“

“I got the Oyster Bienville and they were amazing! My server Maddie gave us a great experience with knowledge of the menu and drinks. We asked for a good whiskey and noticed they had a great new selection. Great job to the new owners keep it up.“

“Natchitoches was my last stop on a 2 week road trip through Louisiana. I found an old review that one of my favorite food writers had written when he lived here while in grad school. He had great things to say about Peggy's. I called in my order, and it was ready when they said it would be. Delicious pizza, good service. I will most certainly return next time I find myself overnighting in Natchitoches.“
