“UPDATE: This owner cares about his business! He (the owner) personally came thru with a new order after my original review was posted. Fresh fried fish AND shrimp! The fresh fish was night and day to the original fish received. Flavor in seasoning was still there but could 100% tell it was fresh. Crisp and not chewy one bit. Shrimp was just as good! I’ve left my original review for transparency, but I would 100% try again. Shout out to Mike for defining what customer service should be! Thank You Mike!Ordered thru DoorDash just after 7. Ordered fried fish & shrimp, received fried fish only. Confirmed with restaurant that order was received correctly. They were willing to correct if I went to restaurant but I drive a semi and can’t pull up anywhere.Fish seasoning had good taste but it tasted old and chewy. Fried okra was ok. Yellow rice was dry and old.Also, you have to pay to get a side of cocktail sauce when ordering shrimp. Ridiculous when the shrimp doesn’t arrive with the meal.”

“I love Peggy's Pizza. They're extremely generous with the toppings. A pepperoni pizza is completely covered edge to edge. The service good, but be prepared to wait a little for your food if you dine in. Door to door time is usually about an hour, but worth the wait! It's a small quiet place, but not cramped. Best pizza in town!”

“From the outside you would not guess how excellent the food is here and the service I'm not kidding.When I walked in the atmosphere was excellent very very authentic Mexican.I highly highly recommend El Patio. They were busy but the service was excellent.Now, I'm from Vegas and there's an excellent Mexican restaurant there (Juan's Flaming Fajita) El Patio is right up there with the restaurant in Vegas. Excellent food and enough for two you could easily split a dish.This is now my favorite restaurant in all of Natchitoches Louisiana area.Excellent job you guys keep it up.,???”

“The new staple of Natchitoches Parish and the state of Louisiana for BBQ. With an offering of conventional bbq as well as additional entrees that put a twist on bbq. There’s no other way around it, Sweetie has bbq dialed in. PERIOD.”

“What amazing people and fantastic food. I’m not a huge gumbo eater however this was absolutely a 10 out of 10. The best we’ve ever had. Smoked sausage awesome, candied yams yummy. Pintos and rice big chunks of ham. Just wow. And their price is incredible.”

“We visited Mayeaux's yesterday after visiting the alligator park. We went in the middle of the afternoon so there was immediate seating. The service was prompt, the food was amazing and everything was as promised. I can say that if we are ever in the area, we would go back.”

“I Love Going Here… I have always enjoyed my experiences here… Amazing place to chill and unwind…On the deck or at the bar! I’ve enjoyed every meal I've ever ordered from the crab cakes, shrimp and grits, boiled shrimp to the steaks! And of Course the Buckets of Beer are delightful! I’ve had some truly amazing waitresses that make the experience even better! Kelly and Hanna have done and Amazing job! Thank Y’all for everything!”

“This was my first visit to La Casa Del Taco and it most certainly won't be the last. I ordered tacos al pastor and they were some of the best tacos I've ever had. Staff was friendly and service was fast. I'll definitely be back with my husband soon!”

“We dropped in late to Nakatosh Deli and pub to grab a muffuletta for dinner. The venue is small with limited dining and bar space.We ordered our Muffaletta's and a couple of Yuenglings. They did not have Yuengling on tap, but they did serve frosted mugs. The Muffuletta's were excellent. They came with a bag of chips. I told Jan that this is a better muffuletta than the ones we had at Central Grocery in NOLA last spring.The restaurant was not busy. There was one other group dining. We were happy diners. Just a good sandwich with good service. The prices were moderate.”

“Stopped here when I had a tire issue on a road trip from Dallas to Tallahassee in the posting rain. All the ladies working were super helpful in getting me information for a tire store. When I came I came back in to request help with changing my tire Joe Walker came to my rescue. He changed my tire so quickly and was a very pleasant and polite young man. Thank you all for your help today!”

“Yum! My drink did take a while but it was delicious! I got an iced tea the drink me hibiscus with strawberry and lime. The service was great! The ambiance was super cozy! Great place to stop!”

“I ordered a Biscoff King Cake and it was amazing! Everyone who had it complimented the cake and asked where we got it! I also tried the SF cheesecake bowl and the SF peanut butter bars and they were all amazing! Excellent service and great food!”

“My first time visiting a Starbucks and the employees were very polite with a great attitude. It is a little high but I came because the consistency of the quality of the drinks is much higher than places like McDonald's.”

“We had the Cajun Potato today and it's definitely a 5 star dish. They put a large amount of crawfish étouffée on top of your baked potato and then place a large fried shrimp on top of that! You can order a second fried shirt if you like! Excellent! The server was very nice and attentive also! This is also one of the few restaurants in the area that has a restroom for their guest. This is a plus, especially for families with kids.”

“What a neat place with lots of history and great food. Perfect for a Northwestern State University student. Food prices reasonable but does not take anything way from the food. It was delicious.”

“The burger is worth the hype! I got a single cheeseburger- comes with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, mayonnaise and mustard. I ordered the regular fries, they were under seasoned. I will try the curly fries next time. I met Marie herself and her sweet sister Dolores! The place looks a little run down, and I called ahead and it took about 25 minutes. All of that aside, don't sit on this burger !!”

“We stopped in for an appetizer and drinks on the deck overlooking the river. The onion rings were perfectly fried and delicious. Great remoulade sauce, too. Our waitress was fast, polite and friendly.”

“Absolutely nothing to complain about during our meal. We ordered a 3pc tender meal with a sweet tea for both of us (18 YOA son), and the bill came to a twenty dollar bill and some change. Careful on the first bite cuz it's definitely fresh out the kitchen.”

“Have yet to have a bad experience here?? Me and my boyfriend went on a lunch date and Ella was so incredibly sweet! Although our food took a while, she kept us updated and assured us that we were not forgotten about. I can’t remember the names of other servers I’ve had in the past but they’re all very similar in the way they go about maintaining a positive attitude towards customers. Food is always fresh and we are always greeted with a smile and seated immediately. LOVE this location!!!”

“Very delicious yogurt! We showed up 5 minutes before they closed but they let us come in sit down and we're very nice and polite and allowed us to eat our ice cream and weed at 7:20. I highly suggest going by here It's an excellent experience!”

“Nice and small restaurant to get a delicious Tex Mex meal.Restaurant is a local business in the beautiful Natchitoches town.I ordered street tacos, portion are big with good value vs price. Chicken tacos can be better. Beef tacos are excellent.Chips and salsa were also great. They give you a small carafe with salsa.Service was great and fast.The tables and chairs are beautiful design. Very artistic ?Restrooms are clean, good job on that.Parking is free.”

“I got the hamburger steak and a loaded baked potato. It came out on a bread plate and still had room on the plate. The potato was a tad bigger than the little new potatoes. Waitress was super sweet and on her toes. The price of our meal was a bit too high for what we got. A scoop of mashed potatoes was in a very small bowl and couldn't add more gravy unless you wanted it to spill on table. I was disappointed in what was served for those prices. The food was good for what I got.”

“Always a good time, playing pool, delicious food with a great selection, the atmosphere is a partying good time weekends due to people of all ages coming in to drink, dance and play darts or pool or watch ballgames, etc. on big screen tv. Great patio outside with tables and seating overlooking the Cane River and main street of Front St.”

“We have officially named this restaurant our favorite dining experience in Natchitoches to date…. By a landslide. The entire experience from beginning to end was amazing. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name) was so sweet and informative and accommodating. The food came out super quickly and was delicious. We all ordered different things and every single dish was unbelievable. The owner even came out to meet us. Cannot say enough good things. This is probably the best kept secret of Natchitoches. Don’t miss out.”

“Not a bad place to hang out with friends but don’t even try to study here. Unlike most coffee shops the baristas are always yelling and laughing. Which is cool for them, I’m glad they have fun, and like I said if you’re not studying it’s okay. Other than that it’s cool, drinks are always good and their food is pretty good too”

“We were in town visiting on a Monday and saw her sign and of course our son wanted a cupcake. Unfortunately they were closed but as we were standing at the door the owner walked up and was so gracious to let us in for our son to get a cupcake as well as my husband! The best part they were delicious and we will be back again.”

“Had the quesabirria tacos and the street tacos. This place knocked it out of the park. This food is so flavorful. The closest I’ve gotten to authentic Mexican street tacos despite the million other mexican restaurants in LA. The service was fantastic and everyone here is so nice. Highly recommend you give them a try!”

“The good is so delicious and fresh. The gyoza and cucumber salad are so good!! The staff is very friendly, especially our server Silas! I will definitely be back there again when I visit the area.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of vegetarian options. They even have a couple of vegetarian rolls to try. The Naruto roll was delicious and was vegetarian.”

“Great place if you're wanting to party on a Friday night or wind down and drink a beer on a Saturday or Sunday. On Fridays, there's a DJ, "Dock", on stage at the dancehall side. On the other side, a jukebox with some pool tables if that's more your speed. On Saturdays, a live band on the dancehall side & the same thing ; jukebox & pool tables on the other side. On Sundays there's a pool tournament just on the pool table side. I've been going here for years & the regulars & bartenders treat you like family. They also sell pizzas if you get hungry! $2 beer specials every night & different drink specials every week! They play any kind of music you want really. College kids typically enjoy the Friday nights and the older crowd rolls in on Saturday and Sunday but all are welcome the whole weekend! Only $3 cover!”

You can tell its more than just a recipe you can taste the love and years of perfection. We were greeted with smiles and in the end we were left with our own smiles.
