“I would highly recommend the Breadhouse-Nakatosh to anyone. Ms. Denise at the The Breadhouse-Nakatosh was very kind and responsive and eased my worried mind when tasked with finding last minute catering. Customer service was top notch, and I was even more pleased with how good the food was. We ordered, chicken, brisket, beans, potato salad and peach cobbler. It was all delicious! 5 out of 5 stars!!!”

“Customer service was great. I called and ordered a king cake and it was ready for me to pick up the same day. I couldn’t choose between strawberry or cream cheese so I got 1/2 strawberry and 1/2 cream cheese. As for the cake itself, well I obviously couldn’t wait to take a picture before I had a piece. This will be my go to place for king cakes from now on.”

“Great restaurant near historic front street in Natchitoches, LA. Staff had a great sense of southern hospitality. This was the first time I’ve ever had a meat pie and it was delicious. We also ordered some mini crawfish meat pies which were great as well. You can substitute the dirty rice for a cup of gumbo!”

“Sweet D's Bakery in Natchitoches, Louisiana, is simply amazing! They recently created Bluey and Unicorn cupcakes for my granddaughters' birthdays, and the cupcakes were incredible. The girls were absolutely tickled and delighted with them. We also tried a variety of their other goodies, including massive snickerdoodle cookies and a sugar-free chantilly cake bowl, both of which were delicious. The highlight for me was probably the best chicken salad I've ever had. Sweet D's Bakery offers stupendous meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The place is fantastic, and the owners are incredible. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch bakery treats and meals!”

“We met friends for lunch on Saturday October 12, 2024. We had gumbo, seafood jambalaya, smothered fries with crawfish cream and frog legs. Everything was delicious, our server was really busy but still was attentive. We will definitely be back again.

“I went back and forth on making this post, but decided to to hopefully help out any future prospective customers, as I ultimately would NOT recommend this place. I was new to town and engaged, and drove by this place while exploring town. I decided to try some of their stuff, and it was pretty good! We did a tasting, and it went well, so my husband and I decided to book them. On the wedding day, I was in the bridal suite, literally seconds away from walking down the aisle, when someone (I'm not entirely sure who) from the bakery popped her head in the door that opens to the outside. She says she went to the wrong place first, but that they're here now and wanted to know where to set up. I found this extremely unprofessional, and it stressed me out right before I walked down the aisle. Some other smaller details that led to my decision to not recommend them: - We had a few communication issues leading up to the day of. i was understanding at the time, but it was frustrating that i had to call and message a couple times to get an answer back about something. - My husband, along with a few people in my family or wedding party, told me the groom's cake wasn't super good or that it tasted kind of off. it was red velvet flavored. - The cookies were very good, but i felt the decor/design on them was not as good as i had hoped, or seen in some of their other pictures. it looked as though they had been a bit rushed. All in all, it wasn't a glaringly negative experience, but just one that left me a bit more stressed than I feel I should have been. If you're looking to book for a much smaller event, like a birthday party or something, then this bakery should be fine!”

“We get pizzas too often. It's fast and cheap. But dominoes tastes better. Caesars used to be the cheapest in town. If they keep raising prices, dominoes will probably get our buisness more often.

“So glad this opened on campus. Used to have one next to my house in Houston and totally underrated them. I try to make a point of stopping in everytime I am in Natchitoches to get a burger here. By far the best burger in Natchitoches if you like a smashburger (lacy). Fries are great too. This is by far one of my favorite burger chains. Not going to rack on service because the one next to me used to be table service. Having a burger made fresh, I am willing to wait. Staff has always been friendly.”

“Every time we go we have delicious food and great service! Even when they are short staffed, they are still doing everything they can to take care of customers! This is honestly the best Chili’s I’ve been to! The food is consistently great!”
