“Hard to find if you're not a local but I would certainly suggest you find this place. The French Dip is the best I've ever had. Their chili is made with Brisket! And delicious! Love their desserts-especially the Bread Pudding. It can feed 3 to 4 people. YES. it's that big. The only thing I have problems with us the potato salad. It's creamy not filled with big potato chunks that I like. But, that's just personal preference. Just go to this delightful little place. You'll never regret it“

Assorted Macaroons
Tres Leches Cake

“Macarons and homemade Oreo were VERY good, 5 stars. However, like others said, the cakes are very dry. Tried the red velvet and it wasn’t very flavorful and was very dry. The icing was more of a whipped cream than a cream cheese frosting we are accustomed to. If you prefer a less sweet cake, this might be for you. Will be back for the macarons though!“

“Came in to look at the menu to see what I would like to get besides donuts. I said I was just going to look around but was rushed into choosing my donuts write away. Even as I was looking at the menu she kept repeating 'is that it?' I mean no, I would've bought more things but just got donuts because I didn't like service. I did get a free sample of munchkin donuts so that was nice.“

Crispy Donuts Donut Shops • $
1400 Swan Lake Rd, Bossier City

“A nice change of pace from Southern Maid's factory donuts. Only problem is this store is continually short on donuts . Also, the chocolate on their donuts often tastes like it has a chemical in it. I have tasted this same chocolate at other Korean owned shops in other states.“

The Wooden Spoon Bakery • $
4350 Viking Dr, Bossier City

“This is the best place. They stop serving sandwiches around 2:30 so make sure you order or go before then. They have the best Cubans, home made pickles and I have yet to get a cookie from them that isn’t anything other than amazing. I can’t say enough good things about them.“

Buttercups Cupcakes Bakery • $$
1201 Dixie Overland Rd, Bossier City

“I drove down Airline Drive to the Bossier store and discovered that Buttercups had relocated to a new location, inside a restaurant. That seemed odd but I like the cupcakes and I wanted them for a gift. It feels awkward walking into one business to get to another and the entire feel of the store is now different. It's darker. It doesn't have the light, airy feel of a candy store or ice cream parlor. The staff is still very friendly and helpful and the cupcakes are still excellent but it's a different shopping experience. I personally prefer the Shreveport location.I noticed another review complaining about flies. I noticed one single fly. Just one but yes, it was flying from cupcake to cupcake. I'm not sure this can be avoided entirely.“
