“Yesterday was my first ever visit to Prep Cales Bakery and definitely won’t be my last! From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcome and was so excited to find some sweet treats that could fit within my macros. I left with 2 cake drops and a King Cake. The cake drops were one of the BEST things I’ve ever had! My kids loved them as well! I can’t wait to get home today and try the King Cake. I will definitely be back to see you guys soon! “This is the perfect neighborhood restaurant! The catfish are fresh and fried to perfection; crispy on the outside, white and flakey inside. The fries are crispy home-style, slightly seasoned, but not heavily. The side salad has mixed greens and cherry tomatoes and is a generous serving. The restaurant is in an established neighborhood and is very casual. Others at my table were very happy with their selections included fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, and a shrimp poboy. There service was great and we were able to talk to the owner as well. We will be back soon too try other menu items. The hamburgerslook great!“

“My wife and I ate lunch here today. I had the cevapcici and she had the gourmet burger. Let me tell you: this place has a fantastic lunch! Both entrees were excellent. I got the large so I saved half to take home. We both got a slice of king cake each and it was so good we got 2 more to go! The employees are friendly and good at what they do. “Service is excellent, their almond croissants are terrific. Unfortunately their traditional king cake is blah- good “cake” NO cinnamon and very over priced-shame. Lawrence’s bakery in New Orleaans was the king of king cakes in the day and Lowders doesn’t come close. Jim C.“
“Ashley’s Tiers of Love is properly named. I LOVED everything about this cute little pastry shop. The staff was friendly and professional and the food was great. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich that came with lettuce, tomatoes and a pickle on the side. You have chips, fruit or yogurt available for a side. There are some breakfast and lunch dishes on the menus but the cakes and other sweets take center stage.The aromas hit you when you walk through the door and you simply cannot leave without taking a treat with you. I bought cupcakes and cheesecake to take home and we were not disappointed. The cupcakes were so fresh and moist and the cheesecake was a HIT!The place can also be leased for small events like a baby or bridal shower, up to 30 people.We will definitely be visiting again.“
“Went out to the Rapides Parish Fair tonight and purchased the most tastiest, most delicious, sweetest, juiciest, Carmel, white chocolate, toffee green apple I have ever eaten! I was a bit iffy on the pricing, but gave it a shot to support a almost local family business & I'm so glad I did!! It was worth every dollar!! My son had the same except his was fruity pebbles instead of the toffee. He absolutely enjoyed it saying momma this so sweet imma get a cavity...lol... #HighlyRecommend“

“They don’t have a very big selection. I popped in to grab a couple dozen random cupcakes for my offices and felt like I was going to take everything. I feel a tow. Of this size should have a bigger selection. Staff was very friendly and helpful.“

“I loooove crumbl! ?? they’re workers have always been nice and I’ve always appreciated how clean their space is! I also can’t forget how good they are! I would definitely recommend crumbl to anyone who asks! In fact, I would probably recommend it over Great American Cookies! They have a good nice big cookie that’s great for sharing if you think it’s too big for you! Also if you don’t want to share and it’s still to big then you can there mini cookies that are so adorable and yummy! ? could not recommend this place enough! ☺️“
