“I have been to a lot of donut shops in my life, but Empire Donut has the freshest donuts I’ve ever had. My favorites are the blueberry donut and the maple donut. The service is excellent with the friendliest staff, and the shop is immaculate!I challenge you to try to find something there that will not become your absolute favorite!“
“I go here for breakfast at least once per week. They have wonderful, farm-fresh ingredients and home-baked muffins. The coffee is the best in town, in my opinion. The staff is always friendly. I bought a cute t-shirt and key chain there, as well. You won't be disappointed unless they are sold out of your favorite item, which does happen occasionally.“
“Who would have thought Martinsville would have such great donuts! Don’t bother driving to Nacogdoches or Center looking for donuts. Stopped by mid-week late in the morning and the donuts were fresh and delicious. Unassuming location had great selections that includes kolaches.“
“It's not a full Great American Cookie, so it doesn't have the full selection you'd expect, but the cookies they do have are fantastic. They also offer amazing cookie cakes, and everyone working there is super friendly and courteous.“
“I was like a kid in a candy store at this bakery! Tons of selections and at a great price. We were able to visit late at night and was able to grab our favorite breakfast snacks. I highly recommend the cinnamon rolls and the donuts. I will be back soon to try more items.“
“Since we moved from Houston to way northern of Texas it’s been awhile since we’ve had Shipley’s. Oh they are so good. Just the mention of its name makes my mouth water. And now they have Latte’s?!!! Wow, got to try some for next time. They have a variety of flavors. (In Nacogduches, Tx)“
“Great selection of fresh baked, delicious donuts, kolaches, croissant sandwiches, and biscuit sandwiches. Good, strong coffee. Nice cooler with every drink you could need (milk, Starbucks frappuccino, monster, soda pop, etc.). Quaint seating inside, and very friendly staff. Open early for the early risers.“
“Definitely the best grocery store in town. Fresh produce, more choice for organics, speedy check-out, and a staff that is friendly and responsive. It's refreshing to go into a store where the employees actually know something, and have the authority to do things to deal with challenges on the spot. Deep discounts for gasoline at their gas pump, for frequent shoppers -- up to $1 per gallon off. That single thing has me choosing this store as often as possible, for everything that I need that they happen to carry. Kroger has a great app for using digital coupons, and creating an aisle-by-aisle shopping list. The shopping list isn't perfect, but it sure helps when they decide to *move* everything about every 5 years. Every store in the area does this -- I guess we just have to live with it. They try to help customers as much as possible during the transition, by posting new aisle maps for us to use. Or, you can search for the item in the Kroger app on your phone. Great store.“
“I want to give Blue Horse a major shout out. They surpassed my expectations. I gave them a basic idea of what I wanted and they brought it to life. They also squeezed me, I came in with less than a weeks notice and they were able to squeeze me in despite their holiday schedule. Thank you so much my Officers loved them!“
