“These are the nastiest wings I ever had in my life, I ordered a 16 piece lemon pepper hot wing and they sent one order of bland hot wings with curly frys and a order of no flavor tasteless wings with cury frys I did not know chicken could be so bland and nasty. we didn't even eat them they're just sitting there, we did not even have dinner because it was so bad.”

“We went for the first time tonight and we WILL be back! The food was awesome and the wait was quick given how busy they were. Two other things I found impressive: they’ve got a great team. Everybody hustling, helping each other and making it happen with smiles and great attitude. Also to be a small building that was cranking out food quickly and correctly to a standing room only crowd, the place was so clean you could almost see your reflection in the floor. Outstanding.”

“1st city cafe is one of our go-tos in Nacogdoches when we treat ourselves to a meal out. There are some really excellent dishes like the Gruene Enchiladas, and the bread pudding is absolutely delicious. My only complaint food-wise is that it's a little on the heavy side. Sometimes I'm in the mood for that, but sometimes not. I would like to see them continue to innovate with some healthier options- more varied salads, fish, etc. (The coffee is ok. I have always thought they could up their coffee game.) Overall, always a pleasant experience and though nothing too outside-the-box, it is hipper than most of what you will find in this area. It is extremely clean and service is always really friendly, and they've got good drinks!”

She chose not to tell me she had already chosen one and was rude when I asked for the $11.86 back! I felt that was VERY VERY rude and dishonest! I’ve always tipped well and cash in their pocket! “Brother and I went here to get smoothies and were pleasantly surprised to see that they sold sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads as well. Although we didn't get a sandwich from there, it may be a future option. Some vegetarian or vegan options may have been available as well.

Most of the drinks are one size; but that is understandable as cost of living has risen. It reminded me of the old Snowcone shops we used to have by Kroger on University back in the 90s-2000s.

“DISSATISFIED : We arrived before the lunch rush, so it wasn't that busy. Our server wasn't very attentive considering it was slow. Our food looked AMAZING when it arrived but the first bite into the Torta de Milanesa and it was disgusting. It tasted like old meat that was reheated in the microwave, not only that but it was stale. The rest of our food was pretty okay. When checking out the 2 front people (I'm assuming hosts and manager) were not very customer friendly. Overall the experience wasn't that great, the food was average. It's really overhyped. Edit: I don’t know how to work Facebook but I do NOT recommend this place”

Fresh with no preservatives!!! My kids steal bites and the hubby eats them too. I think I’m most grateful for these meals on the busy nights. If you haven’t tried ASM meals you are definitely missing out! I can’t wait to try the low carbs desserts she’s been cooking up this week!! 💕🤤”

“I understand not necessarily being next to a table of unruly kids. It is their parents fault but segregation??? umm I'm not to thrilled with that either. It was DEFINITELY clear that folks with kids went to the right side and the adults only went to the left. I have a new grandbaby. From infancy my kids will raise their child as I raised my daughter. MANNERS MATTER!! Whatever happened to that? Oh I miss Mayberry. My point is that it is hard to train a child to be respectful and well mannered when you might be next to a table where the children are standing on the seats, screaming, throwing items. You get the picture right. Other than that and the unusual distracted food server breakfast was fine.”

“A HUGE thank you to Jalapeño Tree Nacogdoches for saving the day on Saturday, October 4th. We called them in a panic after a catering mix up left our family members wedding with no dinner! We called Jalapeño Tree Nacogdoches and within a hour had a full fajita dinner for 80 people. The staff were so incredibly nice and helped pack everything in our car and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you guys so much for literally saving a wedding!”

I don't eat seafood and it's a seafood buffet but they have other food, unfortunately I had about 4 items to choose from that wasn't completely dried out and past edible. I ate what I could tipped and left. Very nice people, good selection if you like seafood. One whole line was scorched, just close that line at a certain time and make it known before people sit that you're running a limited buffet.”

It has been many years since I've eaten at Whataburger. I'm a trucker and their are not Whataburgers at the truckstops but in the Trexarkana area, so I had to stop. I'm glad I did! I thoroughly enjoyed my burger. The tomatoes tasted like tomatoes and the mustard and pickles 😋 👌🏾. It took me back when Whataburger first came to my hometown....I was about 12 yrs old. They even smelled the same, I hope they continue, dont change a thing!”
