They have a cozy play area for kids, a pool table, and even a little library where you can trade books. Plus, there are fun items for light shopping around the shop. The food was also great. I highly recommend visiting Lone Star Charlie’s near Livingston, TX; you won't be disappointed.❣️”

“My wife and I love olive garden. We have chosen to have dates there for the past few date nights due to the calm and relaxing environment and the amazing food. Tonight was no different, but made a little extra special with the duty and attentiveness shown by our amazing server, Seth. He was friendly and helpful, patiently narrowing down food options for my picky taste, and didn't seem to mind my playful jabs at his fabulous mustache! He ensured our drinks were never empty and that we had plenty of breadsticks to compliment our food; and a whole bag to take home! I truly believe Seth helps make the Olive Garden in Lufkin the pleasant and memorable place that it is, and we will definitely be asking for him again on our next date night.”

“What can I say about this place?! WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! I was visiting from Alexandria, Louisiana with a friend who grew up in Lufkin and she suggested this place and boy I am so glad she did! The place is very clean and the people are quite friendly. Our order was ready in minutes and the food. OH MY GOSH, THE FOOD!!!!!!!! I have no words. All I can say is IT WAS A BLESSING TO THE SOUL!!!!!!!!! Next time I am in Lufkin, this will be the go-to place.”

“Southern country catfish, shrimp, and oysters. It's as good grilled as it is fried! If you can stop in and take advantage of the salad bar featuring pickled okra, green tomato relish, potato salad, Cole slaw, and all the fixins for a green salad or baked potatoes. Whatever you do, don't skip the pinto beans!!! I have been known to drive up and order beans and hush puppies and be a happy country girl!!!! The location is rustic country with solid wood bench seating. Service is always given with a personal touch.”

“My husband and I ate dinner on a Saturday night at Chick-fil-A. We went inside because we had been traveling in the car all day and wanted to stretch our legs. Everyone in the restaurant welcomed us and were very friendly. We ordered chicken strips and the cobb salad. They were delicious. Also, we wanted to try their peach shake and were so glad that we did. It was wonderful. We wanted to give a shout out to an employee named Melinda, who was very professional and answered all our questions. We certainly enjoyed our time spent talking to her. Thank you for hiring and training such hardworking respectful employees!”

“Very nice restaurant. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. Food comes out pretty fast at requests. They keep the buffet full. Sometimes the food seems like it sat under the heater too long. And their spicy good isn't labeled. But other than that good food. And it's nice to be able to grab a plate full as takeout if I don't have time to dine in.”
