They were the vehicle by which our food went beyond simple fuel, and became an extraordinary experience. You filled not only our stomachs… but you filled our souls. “Today was the first day I was able to try it FINALLY. Im usually at work and they’re sold out by the time I get off, well I was off today so of course we went! We are from Kansas City and it’s been hard to find bbq that can match up to what we are used too. Well we found it, absolutely delicious, great cake also! We will be back!”

“CRAWFISH!!!!! They were cooked perfectly and peeled easy. We got the spicy crawfish and it was just right. It came with potatoes and a piece of corn. We sat at the bar and was surprised to see the offering of beer from Abita brewery in Louisiana as well as some Texas craft breweries like Buffalo Bayou, and St. Arnold. The servers were nice and the atmosphere was great too. It was very busy yet it did not effect our service negatively. We drove an hour from out of town to eat crawfish and we are going back next week! Don't get oysters.”

“5 Stars. So grateful this is in Lufkin. The menu is special for our area. This definitely is not ‘bar food’. The beer is actually good. To be honest, I’m not a fan of local-type breweries as the beer is never great. But I actually enjoyed the tastings and would love for other restaurants locally to start carrying their brews. The service has always been very good and we’ve been several times now. The management and chef clearly have inspired something new in our area that has been needed for a long time.”

“Eat here a few weeks back while on a business trip. It was recommended for the best steak around. When I arrived I was promptly greeted and sat with my drink order taken. I am a ribeye steak guy but the fillet was recommended by several that I worked with. I had a salad with the blue cheese dressing, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and the best tasting steak I’ve ever had. The house style 8oz. fillet. It was phenomenal. Definitely recommend and will return should I visit this area again.”

“Very nice restoration of its decoration. The food is good, what I can tell you compared to other Mexican restaurants, I give this one a 3. We ordered medium red fajitas and they were brought super cooked. For service, you have to find people to serve you. I really didn't leave very happy.”

“Food was Great, I ordered a Sirloin but 5 minutes later the waiter came back and said that they were out.So I ordered a Strip Steak instead of the Sirloin.There was a lady sat behind us who we over heard was gonna burn the place down, but didn't so OK then.Food came and WOW, the Steak was amazing, I don't like fat so I was glad there wasn't much fat.So if I could rate it I would give it a 4 1/2 out of 5 ?Also waiters were great ?”

“On our road of travel . Large parking for our 50 foot rv. Very nice restaurant. Moderate lunch prices. I had shrimp tacos. Very good. Bread pudding was shareable and delicious.”
