I wondered what "The Best Mexican Food in Lufkin was." This place is good! The prices are great. I ordered chilaquiles although it wasn't on the menu. They brought out delicious housemade chips and salsa while I waited. The place was legit too-- the side chips even had a tiny potato spring in it. My breakfast was delicious. Been coming here for YEARS!! Back in the 80’s and 90’s when I lived in Lufkin, we came in often. Fast forward to last weekend, my wife and I were passing through for a couple of days and we went two days in a row. Although the restaurant footprint has changed dramatically and there are no more piñatas hanging from the ceiling, the food is still the same….
