“A tiny cute cottage on the outside. We were warmly greated. Just me and my sister. The most comforable country tea room ever! . Beautiful mixed china snd antique chairs with window dressings of doilles! The owner herself was greeting and sitting guests. Then we were waited on by a friendly staff. The owner and staff were perfetly friendly without being intrusive! The food was a easy 10!! A little pricey, but brought enough home for a delicious lunch the next day. I will be back!“
“Awesome. A restaurant that actually lives up to its reviews! Good, old-fashioned style hamburger. Lots of sizes, toppings, and styles. Good ground beef, hand shaped. Fresh veggies. We were made welcome from the moment we entered. The young lady at the order counter could tell we had not been there before, so she explained all the burger options. ( they have other things on the menu, but we were there for burgers. ) The building is unimpressive, but very clean and welcoming. The prices are reasonable. Just a comment-the pies looked homemade and delicious, but we weren't hungry for a piece after we had finished the burger. Will have to go next time we're passing through at lunchtime, and eat a "Baby " burger so we can have a piece.“
“We came on a Sunday during lunch time and were seated right away, our waitress was pretty nice. The rolls were pretty solid, I'd say a 4/5. The skillet cornbread was a little on the dry side and I feel like the cinnamon butter was giving it an odd taste so I'd have to give it 3/5. The chicken fried chicken with garlic mash potatoes and jalapeño gravy was pretty good, but the chicken fried chicken was quite thin so I'd give it a 4/5. Lastly the Dr. Pepper chocolate cake was so good especially with the strawberries, 4.5/5! I would recommend and will be back!“
“The service is always nice. If you come during lunch, it is easy to find a parking spot. However, if you come on a Friday or Saturday, I would recommend getting here early. Also, the food is always delicious.Parking: Street parking and a parking lot.“
“Eat here a few weeks back while on a business trip. It was recommended for the best steak around. When I arrived I was promptly greeted and sat with my drink order taken. I am a ribeye steak guy but the fillet was recommended by several that I worked with. I had a salad with the blue cheese dressing, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and the best tasting steak I’ve ever had. The house style 8oz. fillet. It was phenomenal. Definitely recommend and will return should I visit this area again.“
“The Veggie omelet was perfect. The service was superb. It was assumed to be good because there was no empty table in the restaurant when I arrived. The servers, host, and cooks definitely worked together to turn the tables quickly without affecting the quality of food and customer service. I was in and out with a full stomach after a great breakfast.“
“The food was good, but they got my order way wrong(they were packed, so I get it), and I didn't discover it until I got home. Didn't feel like going back up there to deal with it. Overall, it's a pretty good place with a classic atmosphere.“
“We went to the Urban Cowboy Night.. it was Awesome.. The Band was Amazing as always( Hughes productions did an Awesome Job)... Lot's of people (sold over 700 tickets) The weather was perfect (was getting a bit chilly towards the end) now that we've experienced it we will know next time to bring our own chairs or to reserve a table but we had a good time... The brisket sandwich and fries was amazing... The burgers are HUGE as well.... They had a GOOD TURN OUT“
“My favorite place to eat in Lufkin, hands down. Everything they have to offer is absolutely delicious. The specials are amazing, the salads are fresh, the brisket is moist and full of flavor, and the tacos are seasoned just right. If you choose Rustica's you will not regret it. Anything you order will be full of flavor and leave you wondering what you will try next time.“
