“We were on a short trip to the area and stopped in way closer to close than is polite. Waiter was still friendly and attentive. We got the stingers, surprisingly good! Salmon was spicy but good. Steak was a little over cooked but good. Definitely recommend going “
“These mellow mushroom tacos blew me away! They were so loaded with flavor I inhaled one before I remembered to grab the picture. Mac balls appetizer was a crowd pleaser- probably should have ordered more. Bread pudding was an enjoyable effort and a hearty portion. Late lunch arrival resulted in attentive service. We'll be back!“
“The chicken fried steak is huge and the absolute best I have ever had husband said his burger was really good too. This was our first visit my husband was a bit indecisive about what he wanted and the girl taking our order seemed annoyed the only issue we had was all of the tables were dirty. So 5 for food, 3 for service and 3 for atmosphere. The bathrooms needed some attention as well.“
“We stopped for lunch at Stone House Kitchen yesterday. The food was very good, the restaurant was comfortable and the restrooms were clean. Also, there appears to be games available at the front of the restaurant for customer use. I would definitely eat here again.“
“First time here. Went with 7 friends. Got appetizers , seabass and steaks which were all delicious. Had various cocktails recommended by the staff. We sat outside with a beautiful view of the landscape. Highly recommend for a unique dining experience.“
“Pemberley’s ReviewA true test of a restaurant for me is after your visit and experience you are immediately planning a return visit. And so it was with this exquisite dining establishment. The culinary creations from the kitchen were at a level to declare some of the most enjoyable food from any restaurant in Nacogdoches. The ambiance is lovely and so different from restaurants here in Nacogdoches. The background music, white linen table settings along with cloth napkins had me feeling as if I was back at Commander’s in New Orleans. The service provided by Jasmine and Dillon was attentive but not intrusive. They both were so professional and helpful for our first visit. Had to share this first dining experience at Pamberley’s with my wife Bethany. She is as pleased as I am with this unique place. Now on to the food selections. The Shrimp Rémoulade was devine. Beautiful devein farm raise shrimp served with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, eggs, and black olives along with a most delicious rémoulade sauce.Bethany totally enjoyed the Chicken Mushroom Crepes. I tasted her selection and it was delicious as everything we ordered. The creamy béchamel sauce made this dish a winner. We both were also delighted with a cup of their Creamy Chicken Soup. The mirepoix with plenty of chicken, butter, and cream. A bowl would have been better to order and enjoy. We gave in for the Chocolate Cake dessert. Decadent and so good with their coffee.Pemberley’s has no liquor license but was informed we may bring in our bottle of wine to compliment the tasty food. Corkage fee of $5.00 per person is very reasonable. The only problem for me to report with this establishment is that it is operational only Tuesday thru Friday from 11:00am to 2:00pm.And there is High Tea served on Thursday late afternoon.A most enjoyable dining experience for us in our new home here in Nacogdoches. This first of many visits had my taste buds doing the Jitterbug. Pemberley’s would be a very successful restaurant in New Orleans.“
“Service wasn't as a attentive as I usually prefer. But they were all sweet and really polite. Food was really yummy and their portions are quite big! :) would definitely recommend and go again!Kid-friendliness: They were so sweet with my 8&5 year old and were very patient when allowing them to order on their own!“
“We stopped here on way through Texas. Kaylee the bartender was very friendly and made it a fun atmosphere. The food menu was very large with great selection of seafood and Cajun dishes. I would recommend the crawfish Etouffee. Would definitely come back.“
“I always order the Kaliforne chicken and make it lean and green. It is sometimes messy to eat, but oh so yummy! On our last couple of visits we have had Xavier as our waiter. If Bottlecap Alley gives out top employee awards he deserves the reward multiple times. Super impressed with this young man!!!“
“Always goodWheelchair accessibility: So this is an inconvenience. The only wheelchair ramp is coming up the back side of the restaurant. You have to park in the back and wheel all the way around to the door on the right for wheelchair access. Luckily my grandfather already knew this but new people would need to know.“

“04/02/2024My family and friends came to Buffalo with me in Nacogdoches today for my birthday and it was by far the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant! GREAT service!!!! The staff was so kind. The managers were wonderful. If I could give more than five stars I would! Really great people up there! Thank you guys so much!!“
“1st time in a long time eating here due to poor service and food, decided to try to see if things had changed. It has gotten alot better. Food was good, service was great. Mornings has always been good here, it was the evening time that was not great at all. I'm not sure I will try evenings here again, maybe some day. The value was great $7.00. I wasn't sure i would like the Blueberries on top of the Pancakes so I had it on the side to try it first before adding to the stack. It was good. So go try the new menu out its affordable and good food.“
“Excellent experience. If I closed my eyes I might’ve forgotten I was at a Dennys. Good food, and great service. I had Dena (sorry if misspelled their name.) and they were amazing!! (And really great at upselling!) I’ll definitely stop here again when I’m in the area.“
“Smoky as we were driving by, and our curiosity got us, did a U turn follow the smokeThe first time ever that I pulled out Google to see reviews and recommendations on what to order. Brisket with mac & cheese, fried okraGentleman let us sample his meats so we could decide on lean or fat and we chose thin layer of cardiac arrest brisket ?Cooked to perfection, someone recommended fried okra and I'm glad I listened... hear, hear! If you have never liked okra for whatever reason, you'll love it now. Fried awesomely perfect, bite size, crunchy, not slimy little taters ..so gûd??? you'll want to pop a few orders of these.Place is attached to a gas station, a bit old but cozy. Staff is beyond friendlymaybe let go of the plastic tablecloth as it kept sticking to our arms and just go bare ??♀️“
“Our rogue hunting party departed camp in search of pancakes, burgers, and coffee. Our kids LOVE pancakes and these were scrumptious (added chocolate chips) and a side of sausage. Our 7 year old tried his first burger & started guarding it. He said the crinkle fries were perfect. My husband and I got bacon cheddar burgers and everything from the meat, fixings, and bun was juicily melting in our mouths. I got coffee, too - a couple of cups, tent life is no joke. The boys swore our waitress was one of Santa’s spy elves because she was so happy & eager to please, I think she just had loads of coffee, but the kids were well behaved so yes, spy elf she was!We didn’t stop there. Chocolate chip buttermilk pecan topping pie. Where the everloving elf dessert has this been my entire life??? She gave us two slices, I guess because she felt we may fight over just one. Elves….Needless to say, we ALL can’t wait to go hunting again, so we can escape to Dolli’s and feast!Sorry about the pictures. I’ll snap a few before we eat next time. We just didn’t know it would be SOOO good!“
