The best Italian restaurant in East Texas 🍝
While I was visiting my parents in East Texas they treated me to dinner at Auntie Pasta’s. Each of us loved our food (chicken piccata, Mediterranean shrimp scampi, and a fajita chicken salad)! The portions are generous and delicious! My pasta was perfectly al dente. We enjoyed the ambience of the historic building and jazz/swing music. Our server Bailey was amazing!

Based on the reviews, Auntie Pasta's Italian Restaurant offers excellent food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. The staff, including waiters like Jon Mark, are super nice, attentive, and never make guests feel rushed, even near closing time. The food is overall excellent and exceptional. The homemade bread is amazing, and the roasted garlic, olive oil, and bread are a treat. Specific meals like the garlic grilled chicken with mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes are juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The shrimp carbonara is very tasty, and the seafood is generous on the seafood pasta. The Chicken Piccada and Aunties Angry pasta nail the delightful flavors. The fried artichokes are amazingly delicious, and the meatball sub is giant. The bruschetta left something to be desired, as it was not grilled or toasted. The Dijon peppercorn sauce seemed underseasoned. The atmosphere is charming and warm, with a modern feel and an old building glow up vibe. The restaurant is worth the drive, even from 500 miles away.
