Sometimes I'm in the mood for that, but sometimes not. I would like to see them continue to innovate with some healthier options- more varied salads, fish, etc. (The coffee is ok. BEST BREAKFAST IN ALL OF NACOGDOCHES! These were the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. The eggs were so fluffy and the service was amazing! Such a cute and cozy cafe! Perfect little breakfast date with my husband.

1st City Cafe, nestled inside the historic Hotel Fredonia, is a charming mid-century cafe with a classic 1950s decor and vibe. The restaurant serves up delicious dishes, including the best chicken fried steak, shrimp with grits, and cheese curds with a tasty sauce. The Napa salad with grilled chicken is another favorite, and the bread pudding is a must-try. The cafe and hotel are set in the oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cafe has a bright, airy interior with views of the hotel pool area, and the pleasant decor provides a good setting for lunch. The service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff, and the food is always fresh and tasty. It's a great spot for a casual date, a professional lunch, or a weekend getaway.
