“I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Patio Bar and Grill, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the friendly service provided by the staff enhanced the overall enjoyment of my visit. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the enchiladas. The enchiladas at El Patio Bar and Grill are second to none. The tender, juicy fillings and flavorful sauces created a mouthwatering combination that truly exemplified the authentic flavors of Mexico. The perfectly cooked tortillas enveloped the fillings, and each bite was a burst of savory goodness that left me craving more.In addition to the outstanding enchiladas, the restaurant offered a diverse menu of Mexican delights, from sizzling fajitas to delectable tacos and robust burritos, ensuring there was something to satisfy every craving. The vibrant ambiance, attentive service, and exceptional cuisine made my visit to El Patio Bar and Grill a memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking delicious Mexican cuisine served with a smile.“
“It was a nice little Mexican food restaurant. We were a little cramped seating wise(family of 6), in the middle at least, feels like your eating with the people next to you ...but the food and service were good, we'll be back here again.“

“Tyler is a very professional, patient and Kind. Tyler and the other staff were friendly and helpful with my family. Monzon’s Mexican Cantina Bossier City. Fresh and delicious, Tasty ground taco beef, very good Charro Beans. Red sauce was a little sweet and taste like a Spaghetti Sauce, next get cheese sauce or chili sauce on Beef Enchiladas!“
“I arrived at 7:15- and the place was pretty slow.. got a corner booth and waited for the server. Chips and salsa arrived . Chips were fresh and salsa had great flavors. Needed heat. Enjoyed a coronarita ($10) and Beef with shrimp fajitas. Expect an up charge for 1.50 on beef items. The fajitas ($18) were also flavorful, but lacked heat. So I ordered a whole roasted jalapeño ($0.60) anndddddd....... you guessed it. Needed more spice. My server was pleasant and made sure that I had everything I needed. All in all an enjoyable experience. $30- Plus tip & will feed me 2 more times.“
“They are absolutely amazing I can in 20 minutes before closing and they said they didn’t have chicken cooked but offered to drop one in just for me and make it and they did. They don’t realize how much they made my day I had been to 2 other food places before this and they were out of what I wanted or closed. So I had been having a rough time but they really did great they were nice and all had a smile. You can tell they are a great team!!“
“I love this place. The prices are resonalbe and the portion size is worth it. Food is amazing!!! I order lunch a few times and It has always been fast and hot. i can go in and pick up my order quickly and get back to work or wherever i am going. Some resturants are not that quick especially during the lunch hour even with to go.“

“My wife and I were in town to visit our daughter and son in law. We were tooling around town gathering last minute items for Thanksgiving when we all decided it was time for lunch. The cashier at one of our stops recommended La Michoacana so we decided to give them a try. I ordered Barbacoa, Al Pastor and Carnitas Tacos. They were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals, highly recommended.“
“Heard good thing . and I want to add my own good, but with warnings. Wife and I ate this Thursday night in a very quiet and uncrowded restaurant. It came as highly recommended , as it should be.. wife and I ordered drinks- me, a large overpriced large house margarita. Waaaay too sweet for me or my wife. Food arrived and looked as good as it tasted. Fresh and tasty everything. With the normal chips and salsa came some seasoned pinwheels of ???. Seemed like crispy, seasoned and salted pork rinds?? One chrispy , well seasoned pinwheel shattered as I was biting. The crispy , crunch exploded into my eyes resulting in a salt in the eye adventure. Washing out salt seasoning in bathroom worked well. Back at table, we resumed our dinner , my wife chuckling at my distraction. Street taco’s appeared, they were delicious. Waitress had dropped of a small plate of a lime and a second sauce for the tacos. Dipping one chip into the new sauce to see If I wanted to use it on my fajita tacos, I taste tested my new taco seasoning. Bad idea! Like I stuck my tongue to a hot branding iron, fire, inferno and loss of bodily functions hit like a flamethrower. unfortunately, water was requested, and my tastebuds cauterized .My meal was over. We will go back, but the pale, orange sauce delivered with the tacos should be avoided. I’m no wimp , but Ghost Pepper- like heat drove our after dinner trek to ice cream at Sonic. I know some guys will see this as a challenge, but if you must, try it at the end of your meal.Note: Watch liquor prices. Too sweet house margarita too sweet, too expensive for too little. Enjoy the food, but with caution for pale orange sauce and sweet, overpriced margaritas.👍🏼“
“Steak quesadillas always hit the spot. Queso is very good, as is their salsa and margaritas. The staff is always friendly every time we visit, and the restaurant itself is very clean. It is a very new location and it still feels that way. Portions are large for what you pay for.“
“my husband and I went to that place today and we fell in love with the food and the service the quesabirrias are super delicious also the enchiladas I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends,a new restaurant on my list :) because we will definitely be back“
“The food is 10/10, the staff is 10/10, atmosphere 10/10. Absolutely love to eat here, do it about twice a week. My only downside is when it's during its busy time it can get cramped and loud I there because they've added more seating recently and given it a new paint job in there which is really awesome!“
“In town visiting for the holidays from Idaho. Decided to go to Nicky's for dinner with the family. This is a fun little Mexican restaurant to eat at. Very friendly and helpful staff. Answered any question I had, being that it was my first time there. Clean restaurant and very quick service! There was little to no wait time for a table when we went around 6 pm. They offer complimentary salsa and chips. I ordered the queso, which was extremely good, and the "Pollo a la Crema" This was a very large and delicious dish! Came with rice and a little salad. I also ordered a side of beans. You will get full on this one! Highly recommend it. It did not take long for our food to arrive after ordering. Please note that the picture is of leftovers. It doesn't do much justice for the dish, but trust me, it was good! Should have taken one of the meal at the restaurant.I recommend this restaurant to anyone. The next time I am in town for a visit, I will definitely come back and try another dish from the many they have on their menu! Well done Nicky's!“

“This place is pretty underrated. The shredded chicken is best in class to me. Enchiladas, chimichangas, chicken quesadillas are all excellent. The Rancheros are fantastic and a lot of food. Honestly my favorite Mexican restaurant for these two reasons.Highly recommended.“
“I haven't been to Nicky's in over 25 years. Wow! I don't recall the tastes. Pictured is the Carne Asada. Both plates! I needed two "to go boxes" after having loaded up on chips and queso prior to getting my entre. So, on we go.My party of 7 was seated promptly, and initial drink orders were taken. We ordered three warm waters, two waters no ice, and two ice waters. One of my party suggested the server get an impressive tip if she got the water right. She did! We ordered two frozen peach margaritas, and one on the rocks. Also a couple of strawberry on the rocks as well as a Corona Michalada. The Margaritas are most likely the best in SBC. The Michalada has a creeper spice that prevented consumption at the bottom of the glass. Don't get me wrong, it was very good.We ordered a "large" queso. It was disappointing that it came in a 2/3 cup condiment bowl. I don't know how they could have a smaller container for the small version. My definition of large is at least twice this size. We had to order another. It was delicious and had the taste of authentic Mexican crema. The salsa was very good, and the chips were warm and kept coming. The entres were served in tremendous proportions, which more than made up for the lack of largeness of the queso. I can only attest for the Carne Asada, my entre. Though pricey, it was served on two large plates which made the price reasonable. The flavor of the meat is the second best that my 65 year old memory serves. I was raised in Dallas, which, arguably, is the Tex-Mex capitol of earth. My vote for the best flavor is from 45 years ago at a restaurant in Dallas that no longer exists. The point is, second best ever is outstanding coming from me. The quesadilla atop the skirt steak was filled with cheese and lightly grilled. If my diet permitted, I could eat a plate full of these things. The set up plate had a cheese enchilada thing, I guess. The menu didn't mention it. It was over stuffed with cheese and too rich for one sitting. I'm certain the last half of it will warm up fine later. The guacamole has unique texture with diced onions, and also is some of the best in SBC. The only flavor that was disappointing was the beans. They were very good, but not my expectation of Tex-Mex. I had a Mexican step-mother during my adolescents. Refried beans are made starting with simply beans and water. That's it. These had a soul food taste, maybe a smoked ham hock flavor. Sorry for the vague description. You'd have to try them to interpret my meaning. Some in my party loved them, as did I. Just not my idea of Mexican food.Good service is hard to find in restaurants now days, since COVID. Though there are some better in SBC, I tipped 30%. I live on Social Security if that tells you anything. All in all, this has achieved the top three of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Shreveport, Bossier City. Again, this means a lot coming from me. I'm hard to please when it comes to Mexican food. You'd have to make the trip to Dallas to get better.I'll definitely go back and highly recommend Nicky's.“
“2 pastor tacos and 2 carne asada tacos one each with flour and corn tortillas to try both. The pastor was great, a touch greasy but the flavor was there. The Carne asada was really with crispy pieces that added to the texture. The guava lemonade was epic. Will definitely be back. ❤️“
“We've stopped by Don Juanz the last couple trips to Bossier City. We really like this place- coming from Texas, it's great to find an authentic taco shop that takes such pride in their food and drinks! We always find the taco's, whether shrimp, Al Pastor, Carne Asada or the Chipotle Chicken- to be fresh, hot and delicious. The service is always great and the owner is very attentive to his guests. We are hooked on the El Don Juan margarita! Its one of the best we've ever had and worthy of its top shelf designation. Don Juanz is now on our "must have" list when we make the pilgrimage home.“
