“This was our 2nd time here. I ordered the Jalisco rice and my boyfriend ordered the carnitas plate. We frequent another restaursnt in Minden and my favorite disb there is Rancho Jalisco. Theirs has a creamier sauce which definitely adds more flavor. This was a little on the dry side. The carnitas were delicious but my boyfriend ended up getting sick to his stomach about 8 hours later. Not sure if some part of the meal he ordered was bad? The quacamole that came with his meal looked like a paste. It tasted good but did not seem freshly made. Also started out with their spicy margaritas which was super delicious! Serrano chilies, mango and pineapple and tahin on the rim.Love the decor here - they did a great job with the colors and artwork!Will definitely return and maybe try something different.Vegetarian options: They could make some of the meals vegetarian upon requestKid-friendliness: Seems to be a family oriented place“
“Absolutely the best Mexican food and Margaritas in the area!!! I was pleasantly surprised and will be back often! It's clean, the food is great. Being from Texas I didn't expect this in Magnolia. Only suggestion is to step up the salsa. A little too Ketchupy and needs more kick - overall it's a great place and I highly recommend!!“
“Have eaten here in several years so we wanted to see what was new. We were seated quickly. Our drinks, chips and salsa came fast. The menu is HUGE!!! Our waitress was friendly but had a little trouble answering some of our questions about menu items (maybe she was new?). We worked through that and received our food within a reasonable time. My tamales could have been a little more meat filled but they added ground beef to the top so all in all they worked for me! Our waitress took care of extra salsa, chips and drinks throughout our meal. This would have been five stars but my tamales could have been a little warmer and my wife's enchiladas were supposed to come with green sauce. We'll def go back!!!“
“My experience at Santiago's has been hit or miss. This past time we at it was decent. The dip was great! Quesadilla was good.The salsa is just okay to me.... It had a different taste that I wasnt a huge fan of. The queso is good, and rice and beans are what you would expect.The service is good and the people are nice. They do have a karaoke night that is very popular.“
“Every now and then I crave for tacos and I have nowhere else to go but Taco Bell. Decent food in a reasonable price. Folks are not always not that helpful, there are times where I don't get the expected service, there are also good times though. But I come here for tacos, so I'm good. Their watermelon freeze and nacho box are a must try!“
“This place has really good food. My favorite things are the quesabirrias with consome and steak taco salad. Both meats with the dishes are very flavorful. The piña agua fresca is delicious too! The queso is different in a good way. Thick and addicting. ??“
