Today, Sept 3, was my birthday, and the staff at El compadre made me feel very special... the food was excellent the conversation with waitresses was priceless. Thank you for helping me celebrate ? ? ? my 67th birthday.
Have eaten here in several years so we wanted to see what was new. We were seated quickly. Our drinks, chips and salsa came fast. The menu is HUGE!!! Our waitress was friendly but had a little trouble answering some of our questions about menu items (maybe she was new?). We worked through that and received our food within a reasonable time. My tamales could have been a little more meat filled but they added ground beef to the top so all in all they worked for me! Our waitress...read full review

Absolutely my favorite Mexican food restaurant, I've never had a bad experience with anything, everything is good. Great chips and salsa, everything from tacos to the el rancho special, it's all great!
