We were the first in the door at 0700. Promptly ordered and over 30 minutes later they came out and told me they didn't have the creole sauce or whatever to make my order. Should've just left but we were hungry. Ordered something else and it was good. Neat looking new restaurant. I wasn't mad at the waiter and I could tell that she was frustrated with the back of the house. I kinda figured the manager might stop by and say sorry about that but it didn't happen.

We used the app for call ahead seating. We were seated within 5 minutes of arrival. Nicole H was our server. She was perfect in every way...attentive, friendly, not pushy...just perfect!Everything was delicious and we couldn't have asked for a better server!

My toddler daughter and I came in on a Saturday morning at 9:30AM. They were absolutely packed so we were told there would be about a 25 minute wait. We were seated in about 5 minutes. Our server, Emily, was absolutely amazing. Even though they were packed, I never felt like we were neglected or forgotten about. Anytime we needed something, it was promptly brought to us. We were constantly checked on by multiple people, not just the server.I ordered the shrimp creole benedict, and it was absolutely delicious. The grit cakes were full of sausage. The poached egg broke perfectly with a nice runny yolk. The shrimp was cooked and seasoned nicely. The potatoes were a favorite. My daughter stole mine. She had the waffle sampler and enjoyed it.The portion sizes are really nice for the price. Also, they do have some mocktails for those that don't drink alcohol. I definitely recommend this place. There is a reason why it's crowded.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are clearly labeled.Dietary restrictions: There are multiple items on the menu for people wanting a healthier, lower calories meal.Parking: There is parking in the front, the side, and the back of the building. Parking is shared between the 3 restaurants in the building. There is also extra parking next door at Andy's.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu, which is a nice portion size for my toddler. She had leftovers. They also have booster seats. The staff were super nice and welcoming towards my daughter.

My wife and I stopped by on the last day of our trip to her hometown. I was expecting just another middling small chain restaurant, good food but nothing memorable. I'm happy to say I was wrong. It's a chain, but the staff in the Bossier LA location really make it feel like a mom-and-pop local place. Our server, Cornelius, made us feel welcome. He was incredibly nice and took the time to explain the new additions to the menu, and the local favorites. I don't normally give five stars to anything (there's always something), but he deserves them.I went with the shrimp and grits, which were fantastic, and the biscuit beignets, also fantastic! The shrimp was tender and well seasoned, and was over their "city grits", made with gouda cheese (I highly recommend squeezing the lemon over the bowl). Being from the other side of the country, I've never had a beignet before, and I was not disappointed. My wife tells me the biscuit version is different from the New Orleans style, but all I know is that they were light and fluffy, covered in powdered sugar, and the best I've ever had. My wife had the biscuits and gravy. She declared it the best since her grandmother's.We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. I'm looking forward to trying something else (probably the strawberry pound cake French toast).
