In my opinion, all the food has the same seasoning/flavor. It's the same seasoning on different dishes. That being said, there are a couple of items I do enjoy; the shrimp and grits plate and the red beans and rice, personally. Love everything else.
We were seeking to try new foods in the area and stumbled upon BeauxJax. The reviews were great online so we decided to give it a try. The food came out in a timely fashion and was pretty good. As far as appetizers, I do recommended the nachos over the deviled eggs, as we tried both. Gumbo was superb!! Tasted like down home. Seasoned chicken was good. Catfish po boy was tasty on a fresh roll. I didn't care for the sauce that came with it. Bread pudding was warm and sweet. Reminds me of a cinnamon roll. The food was good overall.
