Stay for an hour and everyone is rooting for you on the pool table and karaoke. Stay all night and everyone is willing to take you where you need to go. “I went there for the first time last Friday for the Metallica tribute band. I have heard stories about the bar being a bit “rough” in the past, but I have also read and heard that they have done a lot of work to change the image, build a nice stage/music venue, and create a safe environment.

I am here to tell you that those stories are true! So true, in fact, that I brought my 22-year-old daughter to that show, and we felt completely safe! We had no issues with anyone. The bar tenders were great, and the fellow attendants were nice and respectful. I will be attending more shows at Bayou Thunder from now on, and whenever my daughter is in town again, I have no issue with bringing her with me.“
