I've loved Drago's since I accidentally wandered into the the Hilton Riverside location in downtown New Orleans. Now we have our very own in Shreveport, LA! The first time I had them my friend told me that the charbroiled oysters would change my life and no lie has been detected!!! If you're in the area please stop in and enjoy all they have to offer. But only if you're ready for your life to change for the better! It comes with toasted French bread to soak up all the butter and delicious seasonings. Not spicy. Unless you add Louisiana hot sauce but it's just right. You're welcome. :-)

I am from deep south Louisiana. Ordered raw oysters and their famous charbroiled oysters for my wife. While tasty...they were tiny...small like nickel or at best quarter size. I prefer small oysters, but these were ridiculously small. I won't go back.
They are serving to the tourists at this location.

Everything was great, had the grilled oysters - fantastic, BBQ shrimp which was more like shrimp in gravy but sill good, tuna appetizer - great, lobster stuffed with crab dressing which I really enjoyed but had to take some dressing home due to the large serving. Everyone enjoyed.

Unfortunately despite the positive reviews we did not have a great experience. The food was not up to par, especially for the price point. Environmentally it wasnt bad except for the smoke smell coming from the casino (which i realize they cannot control) and lack of bathroom (construction). My nephew and Aunt had a pasta based dish and seemed to like it... I had fired alligator but I've had better alligator bites fom a frozen bag and my mother said her crawfish in her crawfish toast was not good as if they crawfish themselves were bad.
I will say the best part of the experience was chatting with the very pleasant manager from Bosnia.

Initially, we were going to go to a local/family owned restaurant, but Shreveport restaurants close early and it was a Friday night. I heard of Drago’s from visiting in New Orleans and wanted to try it and was excited there’s a location here. There was an all you can eat seafood special going on. Some tables left out with clusters still on the table, that should’ve been a red flag. It was towards the end of the ayce time window. we were not looking to partake. We waited about 30 minutes give or take for a table. It was seven of us so that’s understandable. The service was OK. As a former server myself, I wasn’t impressed, but it wasn’t horrible either. The food was flavorless. The food looks good, but it was very bland. I had to season my own food. as picture we ordered the spinach dip, boudin balls (not pictured), the crawfish bread, and the appetizer shrimp. For entrées: the lobster pasta, and the catfish basket. The best thing was the crawfish bread, it was saucy and full of crawfish. It wasn’t expensive. I’ve paid more for food, but it was not worth what we paid. I had to add salt, pepper and some lemon to give my pasta flavor. If I wanted to season my own food, I would have went to a Korean hot pot. Overall, I think it’s overhyped. I will be giving the franchise another chance when I go to New Orleans.

Treated myself with Petite filets, and sautéed crab. So tender and cooked perfectly. My server Marcus was fantastic. Will eat there again for sure.

$60 for some bullshit seafood and crab legs. Don't waste your money. They call it a buffet but with only 8 items mostly rice dried up chicken, i would not consider it a buffet

Just want to say the food was delicious and the waitress was awesome
Finally tired Drago’s for dinner and everything was delicious. We ordered gator tacos and charbroiled scallops for the table. The oysters were big and full of flavor. I ordered the shrimp and grits as an entree. It was prepared with a unique tomato based sauce that was fresh and delicious.
It’s ok doesn’t look nothing like the one in New Orleans and the fake bougie people started staring at use soon as my wife and I walked in
The seafood pasta was delightful and the waitress was very attentive.
