Firehouse Subs River Oaks

Been twice in the last 30 days ,left both times due to the 30 minute wait to make a sandwich, the time that I did get the food it was good,just can't figure why it takes 30 minutes or longer to make a sandwich no matter how many people are there

Firehouse has always been a favorite but walked in Sunday night at 7:15 to place a take out order.... would have greatly appreciated a heads up we were in for a 30 min wait because of all the orders ahead of us. Staff could have done a better job managing expectations.

Salads are placed in their sandwich boxes. Not much salad for the price. If you go, stick with what they know, sandwiches. But kudos for them offering it.
Also, their coke machine spits out too much carbonated water with the syrup and is not properly balanced. Been like this over a year, and not good. Maybe they're trying to save money on syrup.
People are nice, good service.

Food was good!!... i got the cajun chicken. I said no jalapenos... got a bunch of jalapenos on my sub. The drinks that i first chose out of the machine didnt taste right. But i found one that did.

Best place to go for sub sandwiches. The bread is always fresh and the meats are very tasty. The service is top-notch.

Chill was really good. Wife loves Italian sub.
Bread is fresh and soft. We had really good experience. Ordered on line and order was waiting on shelf when I arrived. Will definitely be back.

If I had a genie, my first wish would be a few million dollars, obviously, but my second wish would be to replace every Subway, Jersey Mikes, etc. with a Firehouse this good. Food is great, fast, and VERY filling. They put toppings on your sub the way you wish Chipotle would serve a burrito, stuffed to the brim with everything you asked for. I have never had a messed up order or a bad attitude here, and I doubt I ever will. Keep it up!
