Tried the chicken Poboy lunch special, ordered over the phone picked up through drive-through was shocked that my total was nearly $18(Would be more if you don't pay cash) -but not knowing the total is my fault because I did not ask over the phone, assuming it wouldn't be very much on a lunch special and I've done here before. Anyhow, get to work open the box and quite disappointed to see three baby tiny chicken strips, so small they be more closely considered chicken nuggets on I assume pieces of out of the bag, chopped lettuce, and two slices of tomatoes with less than a handful of fries.
The flavor was OK, but I'm more so tasted the disappointment of nearly a $20 lunch with no drink, no poses, and barely any food. I may consider other menu items, but definitely would not order this again. According to the reviews seems like you must dine in to get a fair amount of food. I feel cheated with this one. We'll see how the next visit goes.

I came in off the road traveling because I had seen the reviews of this place having the “best” crawfish étouffée, and gumbo, and was completely taken aback by how untrue that was. I order a bowl of that, and seafood gumbo. My rice, shrimp, and crawfish were so mushy I couldn’t taste them in the soups. The flavor of the gumbo was ok, but again everything was mushy. It might as well been soup. I’m upset that I turned around to travel 16 minutes behind me and spent $25 to still have to buy food later because I couldn’t eat what I had purchased here. Would I attempt to try other things on the menu if ever passing back through, sure..

Gumbo was good enough. Had shrimp poboy and it is not fresh but pre battered/frozen shrimp and it was super fishy and salty. It was gross! First and last time.

You have to try the Catfish Lafitte, but ask for Cajun rice. :)

It was a quick stop for work there as we were visiting only for a day. We wanted to try something local and Louisiana fav. Came across this place. I ordered Catfish Lafitte as suggested by the front desk lady. She was super friendly and understanding! It was right amount of spicy. The dish comes with two catfish over rice topped with crawfish etoufee and the lady was generous enough to split in two plates for us to serve! Overall, if you are looking for some local fav tastes, you are at the right place!

Etouffe was spicy and delicious. Po'Boy was just as good.

Love the atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and smiles. Unfortunately it never fails that every time I get a to go order it gets messed up. Unfortunately the last time they messed up sever enough that I will not return. This cost me money every time they mess up. They either forget something or totally just make the wrong thing. The food is good but I highly suggest only dining in.

Crawfish and potatoes were WAY overcooked. Couldn't get them out of their shells. A lot of them were mush. Potatoes were mashed potatoes on the inside. Good flavor though. Took almost 30 minutes to get my food, and there were only 3 customers in there. Stapp raping in the kitchen, and BS-ing.
Hardly leave reviews anymore - just thought yall should know.

Got the chicken and spaghetti special today as well as the catfish and freedom fries. I don't think they're called freedom fried here but they were crispy on the outside and nice and decently soft potato on the inside with tasty flavor and good amount of salt on them.

The chicken and spaghetti, along with 2 pieces of I think garlic butter toast, was tasty and filling. You get a good amount for 10 bucks and the chicken is shredded mixed into the pasta. The pasts being I believe a Cajun seasoned pasta (pic below). Along with the delicious coke I could not finish the whole plate. I mightve been able to but then I'd get the itis and I needed to go back to work.

The catfish was also yummy and crispy. I didn't like the tarter sauce the catfish came with as it had a horseradish taste to it and that's the one flavor I don't really like when it comes to sauces. Regardless, the catfish by itself was good. I can't say it's the best I've had around here but it's up there for sure.

Did I mention how good the fries were? I'm the type that can eat fries by itself but I also like them with ketchup; but no ketchup is needed with their fries.

I've ate here twice in the past and while I don't particularly remember what I got before, I also don't remember having any complaints so they deserve at least 4.5 stars but I'm definitely bumping it to a 5 because I've had no complaints and their coke is really good too.

(Not review related) Thanks to the kind Veteran that was in front of us in line for his invaluable service and for covering our meal.

If you like dirty rice that tastes like it has tomato paste in it and extremely spicy hot it you will love this place !!!!

( I couldn’t eat it )

Chicken and sausage gumbo is great IF you like it really spicy hot.

Service alright. But forgets to put receipts on to online orders.

It's definitely southern vides, food was ok but I would like more variety. Wouldn't be a repeat customer, but it's some place for people
