It was a quick stop for work there as we were visiting only for a day. We wanted to try something local and Louisiana fav. Came across this place. I ordered Catfish Lafitte as suggested by the front desk lady. She was super friendly and understanding! It was right amount of spicy. The dish comes with two catfish over rice topped with crawfish etoufee and the lady was generous enough to split in two plates for us to serve! Got the chicken and spaghetti special today as well as the catfish and freedom fries. I don't think they're called freedom fried here but they were crispy on the outside and nice and decently soft potato on the inside with tasty flavor and good amount of salt on them.
The chicken and spaghetti, along with 2 pieces of I think garlic butter toast, was tasty and filling. You get a good amount for 10 bucks and the chicken is shredded mixed into the pasta....

If you like dirty rice that tastes like it has tomato paste in it and extremely spicy hot it you will love this place !!!!
